@@royalblue2043 100% agree, gotta start sometime....but this is NOT a starter bike...start small and manageable (preferably take a course if you have little to no previous riding experience) and build up to this in time...much safer/smarter way to go
yeah I agree with you all I think you should have started a little smaller like on on a moped,, The Dillards going to love them though because it sounds like he's going to be replaced at clutch in about 2 weeks..
Won't hurt the clutch...it's wet. Ever heard of the Friction Zone dude? You have to use the Friction Zone for slow maneuvering! If yer not, you need to go to a M.S. F. school to learn how to ride properly.
just seen this video that was posted 8 years ago , I just purchased a HSC 2013 about 2 weeks ago , I been riding sports bikes all my life , my first time on the Heritage was pretty wobbly at the start , the big V Twins takes some use to getting used to , riding the clutch as he did is pretty normal for the first time until you get used to it , this bloke done ok for his first ride , the only thing i didnt like was that dip at the edge of the driveway
1st motorbike I ever rode was a 04 Softy Standard. Still ride it now. I can understand this amateurness haha. I am happy to say I am ALOT better than I was on first ride hahaha
Right man. That's not my bike so I ride like a amateur ;) I thought Harley is more difficult to ride but at the end it's quite easy to ride, nut it was my first time. Forgive me ;-D
: "this is a first time risk!" even before that attempt, an experiment with a less heavier machine might prove to be lesser expensive in the long run.. note: i made no reference to injury or pain because, that would be an inevitably..
I've been running since I was 16. I'm 63 now. Yeah this guy doesn't look like he's too stable on a bike at all. The bike sounded good and looked great. Also I try not to back out of places if I can sort of back up a bit and turn my front downward towards wherever it is I need to go. backing out tougher to balance for one and for two you can't see anything coming down the road. Pretty cool bike though but yeah this Rider didn't seem too stable.
First motorcycle I ever drove was a Fat Boy with ape hangers while riding 2 up. All you got to do is respect the bike and dont ride out of your skill level
First time rider? There is a reason why you park a bike with your headlight facing the road. Not the house. Makes it a lot easier to pull out and take off. Nice idle though.
He tries to get used to the bike for the first 20 seconds and then balances it, but if he continues to ride the bike like this, it seems like he will be riding a wheelchair, not a bicycle.
wow whole lot of negativity on this board nice bike, good luck with it.dont listen to these asshole sidewalk jockies that know jackshit about HD engines or handling a mans machine other than his dick putting down the twin cam or your riding ability
This was excruciating to watch. Its 2019 and I hope that bike is still in one piece.
was just thinking the same thing
Hey.Back off.Ya gotta start sometime.Everyone has a first time.

First time on a heritage? Or first time on a bike?
both I think hehe
Ah ah ah
Hahaha
Lol. I agree! Unnecessary reving the bike and looked like he could barely keep it up
Yep I think he ment to say first time on a bike by looks of it
He's a Harley man has to rev it up while backing.
Sounds like first time in a bike. Way to ride that clutch. You don’t need that much throttle to get these girls rolling.
the sound !!!! hell yea !

That was five years ago. Hope he learned something by now! 😁
got to start somewhere man, I hope you get better at riding
Always have to rev it while you walk it backwards! 🤣

great looking Heritage but that dude is going to kill himself
Why?
lmao i was thinking the same thing instead of calling this video first time on a heritage it should be called first time on a bike
I'm sure you are better rider so please, forgive me ;)
We're all better riders son. But I hope that today, you're good.
Very nice my friend, love mine too

I've been riding a very long time, and he's definitely on the wrong bike to learn how to ride! Lol 😂
Yup! Maybe a Suzuki gn125 would have been more suitable. 🤣
..needs to ride a honda xr250 for a while to get his "sea" legs....
Witch heritage is this? serie, year and cc?I like the sound
Sweet!
Not judging. I my self will probably be the same way when i first ride one. I want a heritage.
You start riding yet?

It's not my bike, I don't remember but it's not serial.
When you made this video, how long have you been riding? I just got my license and I've always been attracted to the heritage.
