Many people outside SK got to know about kpop through TAEYANG. Many Asian kids started wearing clothes Taeyang did in WD, WYA. Even haircut became popular in the Asian community. Everyone started calling Taeyang “Asian Usher”. I think it was 2nd wave of overseas fans that BB got after their 2008 activities. A lot of famous kpop TH-camrs like JRE and Kenny from that 2009-2010 era.

I know 2NE1 because Sandara Park is in there but not Bigbang until I saw GD and got hook on him and dig more info about him and that's when I knew Bigbang.
