I've always liked your assassin's creed video, but I never noticed how many techniques you were using. These tutorials are helping me to fully appreciate not only the video but your skill as well. Very well done, Ronnie!
Been practicing a few moves! just got the front flip down, now im workin on this and a backflip. Did a wall flip yesterday for the first time. Gonna make videos of it here soon! Excitied
Yeah in the kong vault tutorial I explain that the reason my brothers are demonstrating is because of my back injury and what you mentioned, sciatica. Sorry I'm not doing it myself, I just still want to be able to teach people even if I can't do it myself right now.
Nice video Ronnie. When I was learning my sideflip the guy said make sure you are staring at something about chest height the whole time. I like how you said keep your chest in the same place and not facing up.
things i can do: frontflip backflip cheat gainer bar backflip things i cant do: side flip (with no spotter) wall backflip backhand spring wall spin and a lot of other stuff man.. i got a lot of stuff to practice
now i can land it perfect, and get some serious height.. but also i can do advanced sideflips perfect and i love to do step up ones too.. i have them really clean! thanks ronnie
So, i have always been afraid to get hurt while doing flips, so i haven't tried. I am now, that you gave a tutorial. The reason is, i have progressed from all your tutorials and your the only one i trust because you give very good explanations and leave nothing out. My question is, Is it better to start with side flips or front flips? I think side flips because you gave that tutorial first???
Hey, thanks Ronnie, your tutorials I think are better than all the other ones because you show how to prepare and execute the move, it's helped me a lot with my parkour, keep it up :)
In my experience you learn whatever you want to learn, whatever comes to you naturally. For example, some people learn how to cork before even back fulls, or some learn back fulls before a standard back flip. :)
Ronnie because of u i can do wall run and im grade-5 but i already know thankz that is why i you are the 1 in my favorite parkour youtuber and you are my number 1 parkour youtuber i hope u appreciate it!:) :) :)
Ronnie, please reply. Any tips on getting the rotation? I'm getting the understanding, from other tutorials, that I should think of flipping onto my back and then rotating. I'm not sure if that's right. I love your videos by the way, but please reply? Thanks!
Thanks man, good advice! i just went out and practiced right now onto a mattress for awhile and got it down in like 20 to 30min and ended up trying on floor and i ended up getting them down pretty decently!!! I actually only watched half the video, but that was enough haha Now to work on precision
Tuck your legs (and maybe arms) in more, that helps to bring your mass together. If nothing is sticking out, you can turn faster, it's the old spinning office chair thing. Limbs out slow spin, limbs in tight fast spin. Hope that helps! And always practice with a crash pad untill you have it down. Good luck!
Hi Ronnie, I have been watching your videos and basically all of them are set in urban places. I live in the suburbs where I can not easily find a handrail or other things you do parkour on. I was hoping you could create a video with parkour in more naturey settings. With trees and rocks and branches and high fences and stuff. Thank you! P.S. I am a beginner parkour person and thanks to you I have successfully done the monkey vault and have progressed slowly but surely.
Thanks for the advice and tutorials man. I have learned a lot since i have been watching your videos! so far i can pull of the basics of parkour.. me and my friend are now currently trying to learn the flips at our local gymnasium :D thanks a lot
I have the blocking and the rotation, just not the height. Same with my front flip and butterfly twist (except that you don't block in the butterfly twist).
One good(and safe) way to practice this if you're by yourself, is to practice on a trampoline. Go through all the motions, and simply roll onto the trampoline. Once you get the motions down, start jumping(and using the side motion) onto the trampoline.
Anything might be scary without a mat or gym.. and anything besides that might not get you the progress you want, so I suggest investing in a mat or find a mattress. I like to practice over a trash can with my back touching the lid, but that's just to get used to the form. It won't really help unless I force myself to go 100% and try without support - and that's why mats are there for safety and comfort without any back support
I recommend going to a pool so you can practice flipping in the air..maybe video it so you can see if your feet touch the water surface as if you landed it.
The way that I am learning it is going ONTO a trampoline. I figure if I can do it onto a higher surface it will be easier to do onto a mattress or pad, and then even easier on flat ground
i can do it on a trampoline, but i get a mental block when im on flat ground, and it turns into some weird one foot flying kick to face plant... any tips?
hope you get better and can sciatica be fixed? like by a chiropractor? becuase i had a compression fracture in my back 3 years ago and still i have pain where it happened occasionally
I've always liked your assassin's creed video, but I never noticed how many techniques you were using. These tutorials are helping me to fully appreciate not only the video but your skill as well. Very well done, Ronnie!

How do you get over your fear of falling and breaking your neck?
Alex Xtzr Let me explain you.
You have to exercise it on a mat , and when you feel confident doing it , you can try it on soft grass
I don't have a mat so soft grass for me!
The hardesed part for me is on 5:11... Find a friend.. :(
+LennyMeneer It's Okay Brah. You're With Me

Yeah in the kong vault tutorial I explain that the reason my brothers are demonstrating is because of my back injury and what you mentioned, sciatica. Sorry I'm not doing it myself, I just still want to be able to teach people even if I can't do it myself right now.
I like the side flip because it kind of looks like you are about to screw up, and so people find it impressive when you stick the landing perfectly
You are one of my greatest inspirations in life. Keep up the good work man!
This is the best sideflip video out there. Especially for beginners. Thanks for using a pad.
Thanks for the constant help and reliability Ronnie, I'm getting a lot better with the extra tips from you

Ronnie your videos are awesome, I learned so much about parkour with you, could you make a video teaching how to do a front flip or a back flip?
So, i have always been afraid to get hurt while doing flips, so i haven't tried. I am now, that you gave a tutorial. The reason is, i have progressed from all your tutorials and your the only one i trust because you give very good explanations and leave nothing out. It doesn't make a huge difference. It just depends what you would rather learn first.
Hey, thanks Ronnie, your tutorials I think are better than all the other ones because you show how to prepare and execute the move, it's helped me a lot with my parkour, keep it up :)
Awesome tutorial. Not going to try it though, not until I use all of your other tutorials.

Ronnie, please reply. Any tips on getting the rotation? I'm getting the understanding, from other tutorials, that I should think of flipping onto my back and then rotating. I'm not sure if that's right. I love your videos by the way, but please reply? Thanks!

I have the blocking and the rotation, just not the height. Same with my front flip and butterfly twist (except that you don't block in the butterfly twist).
your tutorials help me a lot
1.try squats it help with your legs
2.if that doesn't work then try sitting against a wall without the chair
3. do the parkour roll to break the fall
No dislikes! good one Ronnie =D
One good(and safe) way to practice this if you're by yourself, is to practice on a trampoline. Go through all the motions, and simply roll onto the trampoline. Once you get the motions down, start jumping(and using the side motion) onto the trampoline.

I tried it and I done it
The way that I am learning it is going ONTO a trampoline. I figure if I can do it onto a higher surface it will be easier to do onto a mattress or pad, and then even easier on flat ground
Can you make a second part to help make the rotation more natural?
i can do it on a trampoline, but i get a mental block when im on flat ground, and it turns into some weird one foot flying kick to face plant... any tips?
+zachshadey yes believe in yourself dont think about it and just do it
I did this on my first try, just need to practice more and try it on land instead of a bed or couch.
hope you get better and can sciatica be fixed? like by a chiropractor? becuase i had a compression fracture in my back 3 years ago and still i have pain where it happened occasionally
