I am a beginner with flat iron & velcro rollers. I love the volume boost & movement. Also inexpensive.

Try Hair, Skin & Nails Gummies! I got mine from Costco and they work like a charm for growing out hair! :) Also when you wash your hair, try to make sure you wash it at the end with Cold water! (Super good for the ends of your hair)! ALSO! Avoid dying it if possible!!

A faster way to do this, is blow dry it thoroughly first roll and set. She's using her flat iron to give a beautiful curl and clipping the video where she's about to let us see the section fall to the section brushed and ready to roll.
Even if its day 2, or day 3 just
Spritz a bit of water followed by a spritz or cream of heat protection serum or bond builder, many are non greasy 4 in 1 formulas. Blow dry with your brush on high heat upside down and pop the rollers in right away and power blast em on a cool setting or run ur dog outside on a morning potty trip

This method (with Velcro rollers) does NOT work for me! 😆
I have 3b-3c fine textured, medium-to-thick density hair that is shoulder length while naturally curly and dry, but about bra-strap length in the back and almost chest-length in front, when straightened.
When I use Velcro rollers after flat ironing, I don’t even really get body (although I think based on what Ariba said, maybe I’m using the wrong size roller)-my hair just falls flat and it’s a little less smooth.
What works best for me are 1 3/4” or 2” magnetic rollers (the plastic ones with the snap-on caps). I just tried my usual method, yesterday, but added volumizing gel to my hair before I dried it. After it was dry, I flat ironed it and rolled on the magnetic rollers, like usual, and WOW, the difference!! So much more body, and the body STAYED! My “blowout” style held all day and even after sleeping all night with my hair in a bun, when I took out the bun this morning, I still had tons of volume and even some of the shape I’d achieved yesterday!!
So I’ll add this tip for us girls who aren’t blessed with Ariba’s incredible hair!! 😍
Use a good-quality styling product that has the right hold and benefits for your hair type, and don’t be afraid to try a different roller type, if you’re like me and Velcro rollers don’t work for you.
    Great video!!
