@@Ottophilexcept for when they make the ‘most accurate’ recreation of something. Only to repeat the actual ‘most accurate’ recreation for 10x the price the next year
@@Ottophil Tradition and innovation can live next to each other no problem. It's good to have both. But I get your point to a certain extend. I'm into Japanese superstrats myself (Caparison, 90's mij Jackson, Ibanez) and I'm not getting exited either, seeing this. I get the impression that a lot of it is 'innovation for the sake of innovation' and every guitar needs to have some weird finish. I respect the craftsmanship that goes in to it but to some builders I would say; "Stop making guitars and go make art". But I guess that doesn't pay the bills?
hey man! im a dutch guy, ive been to the aristides factory last year to tour it because they invited me with open arms to come visit, it was a diffrent world to see aristides build and mold their guitars, they really take care with every step and the raw moidels actually get dye in them to get the colour, me and a friend had a bl;ast and i currently am saving up to buy/ place an order for a 060r
Well done KDH! Pretty much my fave youtube look at NAMM 2024 - your choice to go a bit off the beaten track and showcase many smaller, boutique builders was totally appreciated. Love to see a focus on so many smaller fry builders, especially since they're the ones daring to try new things and to really innovate. Notably Aristedes and Evertune for their selfless and mutually beneficial relationship in trying to innovate. Bravo. GREAT COVERAGE KDH....safe travels home.
I love that you continue your "Bye bye" farewell at the end. It seems so much more real and personal than any other signoff I have ever heard. Thanks for being one of the most real people on TH-cam...
Hey bud, you're in my top 3 channels and it's for one reason... you... oh and you're singer buddy (he's great)... but seriously you can only grow from here and you deserve all the success you get! Keep being you and putting out content! I'll be watching as long as I'm alive! Keep rocking bro!
Thanks for going back to NAMM, guys! You showed a great mix of stuff - fan faves, and new things we never heard of before. The Jack in The Box coverage was my fave part, lol. Until next year, boys!
You and your crew killed it! I watched all the namm coverage the week of namm 2024 and the quality and guitar gear coverage was far superior to even the huge channels imo. The interviews, sound quality and variety of guitars was second to none! Great job!
I agree! He had the best peek thru. He didn't spend too much time but enough to make you feel satisfied. I wish it just had a better transition to the next with maybe a logo or something in the jump to the next one. Other than that.... Spot on with the doubly fat cheeseburger
The "Soon Thing" was actually a clever advertising schtick. You know every single person talked about it and will remember it. KDH thank you for doing these NAMM videos!👍
I've got some of the Zuta pedals, and tried new amp! Fantastic! Great design and awesome engineering! Also, the guitar you are playing, Gs handcraft, look them up! Also in my guitar vault! 🤘 You rock dude
Great job with your coverage KDH. Short, sweet, to the point features. Each NAMM I notice some themes and this year one of the themes I noticed, it's the year of the matte finishes on guitars. Seems like the majority of the guitar makers at NAMM this year have a bunch of guitars in some kind of matte, non-gloss finishes.
About Strandberg: Salen has been out for years now. There's a tele-like version (pair of singlecoils), a thinline-like version (semi-hollow HH) and since last year also a tremolo version. The pair you've seen are new limited edition signature models. The red Boden is a new entry model for 999$.
Great coverage KDH! Probably the best overall...from what I've seen. Your's has been the most interesting...straight to the point. I actually saw you on Thursday when you arrived with the cat with the colorful jacket. Should have said hello. Anyway thanks!!
I love you brother , I watch mostly 3 or 4 guitars shows on you tube . And you’re one of them. I never miss one of your show…. Keep rocking and the good work, bravo❤❤❤
Eh, while it's not my favorite, design-by-comittee is how you get stuck making nothing but S, T, E and LP-clones. It reminds me a bit of a more-offset Manson Oryx or the Parker Veron Reid body shape
@@necrojoe I'm no fan of the endless copying of guitar body shapes, and I'll acknowledge coming up with something "different" isn't easy considering how many manufacturers there are and have been. However, if the ultimate aim is to sell these guitars (and it should be), they still need to be aesthetically pleasing to the eye. Different alone won't get many sales.
Great coverage these past days. Thx. One thing I dislike about trade shows (in any sector) is that the final day is such a bummer because most ppl take off so early. Companies bitch about high marketing costs but neglect to use a high percentage of floor space they paid for… which winds up being passed on to the consumer in the end.
I clicked on this video only because of KDH holding up a Minirek guitar in the still shot of the video. I owned an import Minirek for a while...it was a Minirek Goddess...it's action was really awesome...it was a great guitar, but it was a stop tail guitar...straight up Les Paul as far as pickups and selector...no coil tapping...it sounded just really good...the pickups sounded great...so going to watch to see if KDH hits the Minirek booth in this...
Nice shredding on the Aristides! I've been interested in alternative materials for guitars since the 80s. It needs more attention. It may be the path to the ultimate tone.
great coverage of the 4 days. you going to: THE GUITAR SHOW | MARCH 2ND & 3RD 2024 | CRANMORE PARK | B90 4LE Not as big as NAMM, (180+ stands) but at least you get a decent cup of tea and a real cheese sandwich :) Neural DSP will be there... soon...

Much respect to Aristides and evertune for their mutual respect and push towards innovation
Much respect to fender and gibson: for giving us what we want. No innovation

Thanks for all your work
To me this was the best tour and information of NAMM. You knocked it out of the park
Great to see you guys at NAMM!
Excellent coverage! I get all my NAM info from KDH and only KDH.

Love your show KDH! Thank you for making the NAMM Journey!
Thanks for allowing myself and others to catch up! Just a note 19:14 is .strandberg booth

Thank you for sharing this with us. Very cool and informative.
Killer coverage! was a blast watching all of these. Those Guerilla guitars are sick.
Thank for checking out Aviate!!! Lots of Multiverse updates and new effects coming very soon!
I’m lucky enough to own an OD Venus. Awesome instrument. Omer’s an amazing designer and builder. 🙏🏻
The flames kind of act like tuning forks. In the same way that a skateboard is kind of like a Honda Civic.
Yeah you can feel the flames resonate! 🤪
Great tour of namm man! you went to a lot of the booths i would have gone if there in person. thanks!

Thank you KDH for the 4 day tour!!
Thank you for hitting the NOVO booth!! i didnt see any other vid on Novo and they make truly GREAT GUITARS!
Watched all episodes. Glad you got to experience it, K! Seems like you had a nice time!
Thanks for taking me to NAMM 2024! Well done!! Enjoyed your perspectives

Thanks Bro!! My favorite was the last Gorilla guitars. Very metal!
Great coverage! Thanks for putting together the daily updates so quickly!
keep it up bro, killing the coverage
The best Namm Tours are here for sure!
Evertune is truly an innovation. awesome with multiscale! The Zuta rackmounted amps look niiiiice.

Thanks for the tour
I'm always impressed by the wonderful innovations of the gear. So many good new things. Thank you very much for showing us some cool stuff.
Zuta. I'm intrigued
I'd have trouble walking around there, unable to buy. But it was fascinating to watch from here.
I actually think the Minarik Inferno is pretty cool. Would definitely put high on my tier list!

That Red Strandberg is also a new, it's a new Base Model going on sale for around £1000!
Great set of videos. I may never forgive you for that Namm-Namm jingle though ;)
Thank you!

It did. Im a bit burnt out on amps but it definitely stands out
