Yes I have and I didn't like the result. But that is a great with the butterflies.

My style is elegant/glam now that the nest is empty. I too am one of those with a Dollar Tree that keeps old stuff for too long and never upgrades (this one near me doesn't even sell lazy Susan's). My DIY'S sometimes get put on hold because they rarely restock craft items.
Dollar Tree is the worst at restocking! It is too bad because it is always the best stuff that they discontinue
I shop at Amazon, love it. Some dollar trees stock up and some don't. I like Amazon
