I have watched so many videos on how to make a top hat and this is the EASIEST!! After cutting one side of a piece of cardboard into so many strips and then the other side then having to deal with all those pieces and then making sure you line up each one correctly or your hat is all wonky, You made it so simple!! 3 pieces, seriously!! This is a life saver! Thank you so much.
You are my hero for a super quick hat for my mom's tea. I make real felted hats and that was going to be too time consuming for an hourlong luncheon. This is perfect.
This hat is great! Way more economical than buying one and you made it so easy to make. So glad I found your video. I’m throwing a wedding shower with an Alice theme and this will be perfect. Thank you for sharing.

I hope the wedding shower goes well! That's such a fun theme.
Super cool! I'm going to try this with felt
Awesome! I'd love to know how it turns out.
Love the hat! I also love the DoTerra diffuse in the back ;)
Oh yeah we love our diffuser! Thanks!
Thank you so much! This is perfect! Did you buy the rest of the costume?
Most of the rest was from my dad’s closet except for the coat which my mom sewed.
This is so helpful!
Thank you! I'm so glad you found it helpful!
Love it.❤
Was there a specific size box I should look for?
You want something big, but it doesn't have to be huge. Mine was kind of a medium amazon box if I remember correctly.
This is great! How many yards did you use of the light green to cover the hat?
I think I got half a yard and there was plenty.
This DIY was super helpful and easy... Thank you for putting it up. I'd post a pic of the finished project but I don't see how... Thx again!
Thank you so much for the kind words! I'm so glad it was helpful for you!
yeah but how wide /tall do you make the center cardboard piece????
I don't remember how tall it was; just as tall as the center piece of my box.
@@AdventuringFoodie I wish I could show you mine
SOO DOPE!!
This is amazing and easy
I’m so glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for watching!
How did you decide the size for the head?
I measured around his head with a tape measure at the point he wanted the hat to sit.
Adventuring Foodie okay. Sorry I’m bad at math, once you measured the size (let’s say 16in) , how’d you figure out what to use for the protractor?
@@KpopBishForever No problem. You just half the measurement to set the protractor.
@@AdventuringFoodie really confused by this. What were your head measurements please?
@@mwana1114 I'm confused too 😕 I'm trying to make this and I'm just confused
I’m seriously a collector of hats..next hat is the MadHatters hat
Awesome!!
Thanks!
