I can’t wait to see how this works up. I think each part of the sweater will have its own unique color gradient due to the nature of hand dyed variations in the yarn.

I've been theorizing on the tag colors. Maybe it's seasonal. I only have fingering weight, but I have different color tags. Ooh, we have a mystery on our hands, my friend!

Everything I’ve ordered is fingering weight. This worsted weight is going to be a sweater for my husband. The charcoal is stunning with its kettle dyed effects. I have some of that coming in fingering that I ordered. I can’t wait after seeing this in person.

I agree with you on that. You have seen me get just as excited with my huge bag of Big Twist Value yarn from JoAnn. I love getting that on sale. I think I tend to get it average around $2.75 with sales and coupons (regular $4.49). It all makes me happy.

That yarn is beautiful! I finally casted on my first knit project. Im having issues with keeping track of the rib stitch. Im doing a 1x1 rib and keep loosing my place so ive started over several times lol. But im learning so thats the main thing!
It will take a little practice until you are able to “read” your knitting. You will get there. Doing both opens up so many more possibilities
That's exactly what I told my husband when he saw me casting on again! He said "didn't you already do that?" I was half minded to use my needles on him as the Hat is for him! Lol but I didn't I just told him I'm practicing reading my stitches lol
Soon it will be second nature to you. Like anything it takes some practice and patience to get things the way you want them.
very beautiful yarn, i was thinking i was going to be doing a Stephen West MKAL but i think it was just the release of his pattern. it is the glittering snowscape shawl. so i can do it as time allows now. some times my mind isn't all there.
The gold glitter one is right up my alley. That is a really pretty pattern.

I’m so happy I ordered some of the charcoal in fingering weight, this worsted is amazing. I’ve got 5 darker/moodier colors coming in fingering weight I ordered. It’s hard not to get sucked in.
