There is also the example of Ahhotep I as a regent who held things together between the death of her son Pharaoh Kamose & the defeat of the Hyskos by her younger son Ahmose I. But then there was Sobekneferu as a pre-Haphesput female king outside of Nefertiti or the Cleopatras.

True enough! She has a good claim to be the main character for this period, but I think lack of sources scares a lot of popularizers away. Glad you enjoyed it.

The issue about all these people is lack of information on their lives, even their ages are debatable let alone anything else. Nobody even knows how she died or by whom/from what.

For sure. In one sense, it is a good setting for an open ended sandbox game. But in another sense, it would be nice to have more of the story lol.
