I had a cat who couldn't stand my laughter. She'd run up to me with a freaked out look on her face and put her paw on my lips to shut me up, lol.
Her: "Warm kitty, soft kitty"
Cat: *"Your free trial of life has ended"*
Stop you're reminding me of my early 2010's phase when I would play nothing but demos and trials that would only last 30 minutes 😭
When cats scratch furniture, it's a sign they're comfortable. Your cat loves you! Not at all a sign of anger or annoyance. The tail wasn't even whipping. That's a great cat right there
My cats are comfortable too but they fortunately don't tear up my furniture.
The joy that cats bring is immeasurable.this video is a breath of fresh feline joy.
I had a solid black cat that hated it when I sang or whistled in the house. She could be taking a nap in another room and if she heard me singing or whistling, she would literally come to where I was and continue to bite me on the arm or hand until I stopped. She even tried to do this when I was singing in the bathtub and was trying to figure out how to get behind the clear shower curtain to get to me.😂
Cat: hooman how many times do we have to go through this.....my ears are sensitive 🤣🤣😂😂
this comment reminds me of my cat Toto that passed away several years ago. she would start scratching my legs whenever i sing.
For what it's worth, you have a lovely singing voice IMO😂.
Lovely voice but in cat language, she's telling the cat how ugly it is.
It's not the singing that offends the cat, it's your indifference toward Jimmy's corn.
She is indifferent to Jimmys act of cracking the corn. Not the corn itself.
This Kitty absolutely loves your singing. 🤣🤣🤣
Our cat likes being sung to. He’s incredibly spoiled though & just likes being the center of attention in any capacity I think 😂
Owner : "Sooft kitty, waarm kitty..
Cat : *So you have chosen death*
LOLOLOL!!! Thank you. This made me laugh SO hard at a moment when I really needed it. 😂😂😂
That cat's wearing a suite- give that man his Jazz!
Her: "Warm kitty, soft kitty"
Cat: *"So you've chosen death"*
I love tuxedo cats
Me too! I had one growing up and he was the sweetest cat in the world! Whenever I got home from school, he'd be waiting to greet me. He'd follow me around the house untill I sat down on the couch. He would jump on the table in front of it and we'd bump our foreheads together, and then I'd pet his back. We'd sit like that for about a minute, and then he'd get on my lap, lie down and pur like crazy. That was our daily routine. Whenever we didn't close the door of the living room at night, he'd also get upstairs and meow in front of my door untill I let him in haha. I loved that cat to bits, but we had to put him to sleep at the age of 16 because he had a stroke. Poor thing couldn't even get up on the couch anymore and was in obvious agony. That day broke my heart. I was (and still am) kinda pissed at my mom, because he had the stroke a day before he was put to sleep. The next day, my mom took him to the vet and put him to sleep without even telling ne she was taking him there in the first place. I got home that day and saw a box with a blanket over it. I knew what was up immediately. Kept it together though. I waited untill night and went downstairs to cry and say goodbye on my own. Maybe that's why she did it without telling me. I don't like to cry around other people. Still though, I'd rather have cried at the vet and say my final goodbye while he was still alive, then the way it went. I still miss that cat, and it has been like 10 years already.a
@@MetroVerse Wow your story is so sweet. I envy you, your cat loved you a lot. Such a behaviour from a cat is a dream-come-true for me, since most cats treat us more like slaves than friends.😅 Your cat sounds like a total sweetheart! It is probably watching you doing fine in life :)
@@NoctLightCloud Thank you, I appreciate that! He really did love me, just as much as I loved him. I remember one time where he was gone for 4 days. We put up flyers everywhere, and then someone called to tell us he was at their house. Apparently, he walked to a huge house quite a distance from our own house, and the people there had been feeding him so he stayed there for that time. When we went over there, my mom was fuming. She was really pissed off at him because we had been worrying sick, and the dickhead was just chilling at a huge house haha. So when we got there, my mom walked up to him all grumpy and aggitated. Of course, the cat sensed that so he started hissing and swiping at her and running away from her. My mom was getting even more pissed, and I was like "mom, calm down, let me get him", so I got down calmly and started calling him gently, and he immediately walked up to me all jolly and friendly. I picked him up and put him in his carrier and when we got home we simply repeated our routine and that was that 😂
"Soft kitty, warm kitty"
cat: *TRIGGERED*
Yeh, don't butter her up after u JUST talked about ogling n cheating with some dog in a window...
Reminds me of the time that I was holding my cat and started talking in a sarcastic tone to her, she was freaked out by the sarcastic tone and attacked my face. I never talked to her in a sarcastic tone again...
0:45 you dare to mention dogs, you are in for it now
Her: "Hoowww much is that doggy in the window?"
Cat: More than you can afford. We're not getting a dog.
@@eclipticsolar5441
hmm. I don't understand what you are trying to say. it sounds evil though. please get rid of any evil entity in you.
I thought the cat was gonna start singing too. Looked like she was dressed for the opera
Owner: Kitty why are you scratching my chair?
Kitty giving the death stare: Come on you know why.
"Kitty loves to hear me sing."
*tries to sing*
Kitty: "Mama, no singing! You know how I feel! I want peace and quiet!"
Woman: *sings song abt dogs*
Cat: We don't do that here
edit: are ya'll mad lmao
@uh wot not all people man, it aint cringey to me tbh, in my opinion ur cringe itself
The cat probably thinks you're in distress. lol :D
*SAVE HER FROM THE ELECTRICAL CHAIR THATS FORCING HER TO SIIIING*
XD
Such a lovely tuxie kitty. I love tuxedo kitties.
Cat: okay hooman, sing me a song
Human: *starts to sing*
Cat: okay that's enough!!
Lady: "how much is the doggy in the window?"
Cat: "WHAT THE FUCK DID YOU JUST SAY?!"
I think maybe because the tone of your voice is totally different when you sing, the cat thinks something is wrong.
I was cracking up within the first 15 seconds of the video. Jimmy is an on going joke at work. What got me to click on the video tho was my tuxedo cat also hated when I would sing around/ to him. Dippy would yell at me then get up and leave the room. He wasn’t a musical cat he was a talker tho💙
Cats only make noises like humans singing when they are in pain or distressed, kitty was trying to snap you out of whatever she perceived you were yowling about!🤗
i cant believe people don't see the cats not mad, he's concerned lol
@@thesupreme7815 Ive heard that cat dont really meow, they meow as they always say us communicate by talking
Thats all
Owner: *sings*
Cat: "Hey, stop doing those human noises. They are annoying me."
Omg she's so adorable!!! I used to sing the soft kitty song to my cat too lol 😅
soft kitty, warm kitty.. why is this such a wonderful song
I didn't know she was a chair
Yeah she said *ouch* but it bites the chair!😂 Weird! I never heard about the singing chair lady before lol😂
i once sang very loudly in front of my cat. He just froze and watched me with VERY widened eyes
The Blitz cats have 32 muscles in each air maybe it was hurting it's ears
*Cat: shut up or i'll destroy every piece of furniture in this house!*
cat be like: "lady if you got time to sing then you got time to feed me"
What an adorable cat! Just think about how human singing sounds to him. "Are you in pain? You're yowling like you're in pain. SNAP OUT OF IT!"
My cat does it as well and that crossed my mind - that it sounds like distress or maybe that I'm trying to get his attention. But then, he also goes nuts if I play the piano. When it's my husband (who does most of the playing) it's business as usual. If it's me, I have a cat in my lap, or a cat on the keyboard, or a cat in the piano. Everybody's a critic >.
You guys ever thought that cats are just plain stupid? They just hear a sound that is not usual, so they get scared and go crazy... They do not understand singing, they do not help each other why would they give you an opinion about music or check if you're ok? People always trying to see human traits in animals...
Why did this super wholesome comment have to be ruined by the fact that you're a white supremacist?
my cat just leaves the room as soon as I start singing xD
SusannGER mine starts biting me when I start practicing violin😂
Everything leaves the room when I start singing. Cats, dogs, single-celled organisms....
DieFlabbergast oddly enough there was a huge spider which took a liking to our laundry hamper yesterday. Didn't try singing at it though so I can't answer your question but I assume it would do some damage. But my singing is an AoE attack so need to be careful about friendly fire
Once when i put on the song spirit of nature a spider came walking from under the closet!
(probably just the vibrations)
I had a cat that would slap the taste out of my mouth for consuming anything mint scented like mint chip coffee, brushing my teeth, chewing gum. She would also drink my coffee, which was why I switched to chocolate mint to begin with.
"How much is that doggie in the window". She wants you to sing about her. Soft kitty...ow! Guess not!
Ok but the woman's voice is so soft and beautiful especially when she sing the kitty song lol ❤️😂
No. It's painful. There's a *really* high frequency register in her sound. And it's strongest precisely at the moment the cat starts jumping up on the seat. Especially at 0:43 and 1:18 when the cat becomes most agitated. It actually hurts.
This cat is BEAUTIFUL and clean ! The lady has a nice voice!
Whenever I sing my cat automatically gets up and leaves the room LOL and I am actually a good singer I am classically trained 😂
I think the cat actually likes it lol. When my cat gets excited she always stretches and scratches the furniture before headbutting and loving me. The thing is we humans are the only ones not liking the scratching. Kitty doesnt know better. They use it to either flex and show confidence or show they care. Esp if they dramatically reach out to you like that.
Laroling you’re an idiot theirs hearing is impeccably strong so when u sing you’re sending high pitch vibrations that only a cat or dog can hear most cats get very annoyed and cannot tolerate the sound so they react smh fckn moron !
The line you couldn’t remember in Jimmy Crack Corn is “Master’s gone away.”
Unlike dogs, cats do not recognize the existence of masters. 😸
A cat with musical taste.
This one NEVER gets old!!! LOL!!!!!
Soft kitty one melted my heart. I loved that voice.
When I was very young, I used to ask my grandmother to sing because our cat would gradually make her way to my grandmother's lap and then, suddenly, bite her nose. I would be crying with laughter. My grandmother was tone-deaf and our female cat wanted to return some of that pain (thankfully, my grandmother had a good sense of humour).
Maria Benetti I knew this guy who was also tone deaf but he actually sang pretty well
My son's tone deaf. No fun for anyone. Keeps me in check. T always singing my stupid songs.. when I'm alone w the poor cat. He does not approve either.
@@vampcat260 maybe just maybe cats are more musically înclined than we humans thought.. !!
It's just trying to play the washboard!
"where is the off button" -tuxedo cat
“WE SING ROCK, NOT LULLABIES!!!”
You have a lovely voice and your naughty kitty is very beautiful :-)
My cat thinks I'm crying when I sing. She climbs onto my chest and bumps my face with her head.
there’s a lot of cats that bump heads, it’s simply how they show love. but there’s also lots of cats that don’t like to show emotion
“We listen to metal in this house hooman” - cat
My son acted just like this when he was a little boy. He just hated me singing any music. He really didn't like music back then. But now, he is really musical.
Omg my nephew always runs from my room when I have music playing from the speakers and goes "too noisy!" in his cute toddler voice lol
It's just a crazy theory,but maybe,just maybe,you don't have that good of a singing voice 🤔,don't shoot the messenger
Should have tried singing "SMELLY CAT, SMELLY CAT"
"How much is that doggy in the window?"... cat: oh hell no!
God, what a cute black cat, so beautiful green eyes. Good cat, mur mur
What a beautiful tuxedo cat ❤❤
"You don't like the song about dogs?"
Cat: OF COURSE NOT!!! You think any respectable cat ANYWHERE will like a damn song about frickin' dogs?! Now, had you been singing about MICE, I will purr to that shit, I promise you.
😄 " SHE'S AD🧡RABLE and the newest ' The Voice ' judge. "
Kitty: I am punishing your chair for your singing.
I didn't know cats didn't like singing. When I pet my cat like a baby he starts falling asleep but when I sing him a lullaby he gets angry at me
Knight of Oath most are pretty indifferent. Some hate it, but then you have the rare ones that actually seem like to be sung to (very likely very dependent of the kind of singing voice their owners have) and fall asleep to it. Every cat's different.
My cat disliked me babying him, but when I said things like he's a little monster he seemed to think it was fun
*"my cat like to hear me sing"*
*"so i'm gonna start singing"*
cat: *"NOT AGAIN"*
It's just adorable. The look of that little thing 😍✨💕❤💙💖
Lady: “How much is that doggie in the window…”
Cat: “So you have chosen death”
“Yeah that’s gonna be a no from me”
Ohhh I get this reference!
"You're probably the worst one we've had today. Please get off the stage right meow!"
youtube during lockdown : so you wanna watch a cat who hates their mum's singing huh?
me : why not.
@@rewjik7998 Some younglings (30 year olds or less) treats pets as if they were their children, and therefore, they're their "parents". Which goes to show how messed up their minds are.
Good as I may treat them, much as I may love them, my pets are pets.
Human singing: soft kitty, warm kitty
Cat: I'm not soft and warm human!!! I'm a tiger and I'm danderous
You know what this reminds me of? Whenever I was young and my mom would sing I would shout "STOP SINGING MOM!!" I don’t know why I did.
Cats are the funniest creatures... ever! I love them.
I remember I would sing my hymns and even my cat was sound asleep, he would get up and put his head on my mouth.
soft kitty, warm kitty, little ball of fur
happy kitty, sleepy kitty, pur, pur, pur
She's like, "My God! Will you stop? Why are you hurting me?"
I love how she just walks away at the end
She's like hooman, when we control the earth this behavior will not be tolerated, you've been warned
Owner: (singing) How much is that doggy in the window?”
Cat: I’m scared of dogs!
"Human, you know I love you, but honestly, I thought you ought to stick with your day job." 😂🤣
Who is Jimmy? Why does he crack corn, what does it mean to crack corn and why is this so unimportant, yet requires a song? What is happening?
It's from a really old song with a dark racist history. What it all boils down to I guess, is that it was slang for sitting around idly gossiping. A more likely explanation is that Jimmy cracked open a jug of his late master's corn whiskey and kicked back a bit. Either way, nobody cared because the master was gone away and wouldn't be coming back.
From what I remember, this song is about a slave singing about how his master was killed when a horse got spooked by a fly. He was put on trial but found not guilty because he couldn't have stopped the horse getting spooked by the fly. Don't think this was an actual song by slaves, though, it was probably sung by white 'minstrels' in blackface. Don't quote me on any of this though, I'm half remembering a wikipedia article I read several years ago.
@@ridkey2284 No no, I think you're right about the blackface/minstrel part actually.
The first song was about a vegetable, cats are carnivores. The second one was about a dog. When you got to the cat song, it said now you are patronizing me.
If we've ever been visited by aliens, they doubtless checked off Earth while making a twirling sign near their brain.
Super cute. Beautiful kitty.
Your cat is actually positively responding to your sounds. When I play my recorder for my kitty, it is sort of like the same reaction.
I don't want to destroy your world view but this cat at least is wagging its tail like it's uncomfortable whenever she starts singing
My Uncle had a tuxedo cat for 20+ years named Casey and when he sang anything she strait up attacked him. Would come running from across the house to divebomb him with claws and fangs out. It was hilarious!
"HEY! Ok, lady the doggy song is RIGHT OUT!!!"
He's wearing tuxedo, he wants classical music
And he wants to conduct
Or maybe ballroom music.
Singing not good enough for cat, need orchestra concerto
Yes... Yes it is
hahahaha!
