The players were outstanding. But I would like to see the developer who decided on the armour portal and push portal deal with that pressure. They seem extremely strong with very little counterplay.

Honeybee Roethor match was amazing. I was rooting for Honeybee, but I can’t be mad since Roethor is one of my favorite are arena players to watch. His Quan is insane.
I hate sindel the most out of every character in mk1 tbh. She has everything and when you say anything, twitter people start saying "you get mothered". Honestly a high tier character that isn't even entertaining to watch, Idk why she has so many fans. At least kenshi is entertaining to watch

If Kanimani couldn't get his Kenshi to even be a threat at Final Kombat says a lot about those guys at EVO. Those are some dangerous cats. Could R1PS get Dyloc as a hidden pro player in the next challenge? Im interested to see what I was hoping to witness from SOSED
@@Cdoom541 Remember he has not been on that level before. It was new territory and the inexperience showed. It's his best performance in MK1 RIPS ARENA history. We can't fault him though coz we couldn't do it ourselves 😀
I can't believe SOSED didn't make it. The moment he started thinking about the match in the quarter finals, he lost two in a row. A guy who beat honeybee 3-0 should have been playing in the finals. But I know he is a slower learner compared to the Kanimani types. However, just like in MK 11 ULTIMATE, once he has full mastery, he will be too good like he was with KOLLEKTOR and GERAS
@@FoBs2007he was doing well with shao but then switched off to geras and got put into losers. The shifting of characters imo is why he lost his streak lol. He was unstoppable with shao before he made the switch
Agreed. There should be a balanced between cashing out all the damage with sento and reducing the time but also making his frames better to stealth the sword to actually switch between effectively
Grand finals is here and mr aquaman is with us, the commentary team has been golden. Spoilers ahead. Match1: Well as soon as i saw the matchup i was pretty sure KK would win cause of motaro but Val made it alot harder than i thought it really came down to the wire i have no idea how he pulled it off to fight this hard but he did. Excellent mirror. Match2: Well i am super bummed that sosed did not make it and since he didnt make it i expect kanimani to win i would be betting money on him if i could. Roethor did the same mistake one too many times and it cost him badly. Match3: Yuvility really needs to polish homelander, the drops are painful in a match of this caliber. Val could do it even without the unnecessary openings, but his pressure combined with many missed opportunities and some input errors from yuvi gave him the win. Match4: Well this is an artform you gotta love both players for doing their thing without giving a single care for tiers or anything else. Just two amazing players brawling it out and bringing the best out of each other. Match5: Kk vs kanimani was a predictable win for kani but like most times i didnt think it would be THAT easy, how good is this guy. Match6: Well this was a tough one sindel sub is a pain for quan but somehow roethor without even changing kameos, he grits through it all. Val throws everything at him but somehow roethor clutches every time executing his gameplan. Match7: Another sindel fight and at this point roethor must be tired. He started showing some signs of fatigue, in the end kk takes this after another unforgiving match but Roethor will remain a star in our hearts, he is the true low tier god. I wonder if he is actually as good as ninja, sonic, kani and he just restrains himself to low tier characters just to give others a fighting chance. Finals: Well as i thought, finals arent much to look at its kanimani destroying his opponent with Kenshi. Some people find kenshi boring or are annoyed with his playstyle but these are puppet characters, nrs players just arent used to that archetype in fighting games cause its a japanese thing. We had carl clover in blazblue or zato=1 in guilty gear and they were always strong characters cause you could control more than one entities. And sento is easier to stop than carl's nirvana believe me. This requires masterful execution and a hard to play character should be rewarding the player for mastery.
Really enjoyed watching this. All players played well and as I play characters similar to him I love watching roethors quan chi cause he makes him work even in the hardest situations. Rotheor Vs. Honey Bee and Val vs. Kitana Khan were my favs. Can't wait to play in Season 7 👊
Kenshi in MK1 is one of the cheapest characters in NRS history IMO! The clone last way to long, and the chip damage alone from the clone is crazy work!
That chip damage is an improvement compared to what it used to be. And until we start seeing Kenshi everyone in top 8's in OFFline majors nothing will be done. Enjoy the Kanimani show
I remember Kenshi in MK9 being one of the only if not the only character with some 8-2 match ups due to his insane armor and zoning keeping people across the screen the entire match while chipping you to death.

Another amazing season (even though Kanimani’s mere presence makes it very predictable lol). I think it would be awesome if you and Destroyer would somehow be able to set up a first to 10 between your 2 champions at the end of each season.
Bit late and missed the stream too but hype matches! Bit bummed that khamogatt didn't make it to top 8 but then I saw the bracket and saw he lost to my goat honeybee so it's all good. Can't say I didn't see kanimani winning again. Roethor had my hyped tho.
Ah man great run but really sucks we just skipped two elimination rounds when we fully could’ve seen all competitions in the top 8 players… especially after some of the wins last time and just not getting to see the end rounds of those players. I know not everything is streamed, but with such a small final cast for the finale it’s a bit disappointing those were cut.
you really gotta try him, he's not as easy as you imagine. combos are a rhythm game yes, but adjusting and optimizing sento to each specific situation is far from just pressing buttons

If you win, you know you really earned it and outplayed your opponent. You can’t really outplay somewhen when you’re using Kenshi. You just get sento out and corner them. Pretty easy.

I don't see the the meta shift at all, still the hard to blockables by Sindel and Kenshi (the most broken character of all time), Johnny is still top tier. Kani only wins because he plays the most broken characters, I wanna see him pick Reptile and make it to top 8

I was pulling for Val too just for he tremor tech but it is kinda disappointing t see kani kenshi win again. I kno id do the same to win the pot but just ugh. No hate its just boing. Woulda rather seen him play raka or johnny ferra wiulda been tough her mixups with johnny are disturbing
