- Hey Everyone :) Long time no vlog! I'm back again today with another Irish travel vlog and this time I'm taking you around County Wexford.
As many of you know I live in Co Wicklow (travel vlog here: • Irish Adventures | Wic... ) so I began with the area closest to me, Gorey, more specifically Courtown. It's a village I spend quite a bit of time in! Pirates Cove is located there, along with the Seal Rescue Centre, and the Wexford Lavender Farm isn't too far away. Moving into the heart of Wexford you've got the Irish National Park which is a must see in my opinion, I think it would make a lovely day out for all the family and is a great way of learning about Ireland through the ages. Closer to the coast you have attractions like Loftus Hall and Hook Lighthouse. I was raging the gates were closed on Loftus Hall, I only got a brief look at the mansion but i'll definitely be back.
Some other places that I'd recommend exploring are:

♢Wells House and Gardens
♢National Opera House
Some of my favourite places to stay include:
♢Seafield Hotel and Spa Resort (based in Gorey and a lovely hotel to stay in if you're looking for a luxury retreat away)
♢Clayton Whites Hotel (located right in the heart of wexford and they offer discounts on local attractions)
♢Whitford House Hotel (ten minute drive from wexford town, reasonably priced 4* hotel)

We will be staying in Courtown in June and I can’t wait to see all the beautiful country sides there is to visit. I’m actually related to the Fern Castle by my ancestors and this will be a amazing site to show my son a piece of our heritage. We will be coming from USA West Tennessee.

Wexford is a beautiful place, I'm English but I have family members from Wexford and one of them just got married on Friday so I was over there for that, again really beautiful place to visit

I cried when the seals where released back to the ocean. I love animals.
I know I was so emotional too haha they are the cutest little things! When the seal put his paw up on the cage like he was waving and when the other seal turned back to see if his friend was coming behind him....jaysus, wept😭
Hi Eimear, it’s was a really lovely vlog, the best parts of course being the seal rescue and the Irish civilisation tour through the eyes of the Viking settlers. It’s been a long time since I’ve returned home to Dublin, and I truly never stop missing it no matter how long I’m away. Watching your Vlog makes me think that the next time I am over in England for the summer, I’m going to plan a trip back home to see all my old haunts and friends. My best friend lives in Galway now though, so that’s where I’ll head first and then to Dundalk to see some old family friends. Thanks for the trip down memory lane I guess is what I actually am trying to say I suppose! 😊🙏🏼😎
P. S. It was great watching you do a travel vlog, and l for one would LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, to see more of these in the future!!!😎🙋🏻
Eimar, your channel is so eclectic. You’ve got a life outside of makeup and you share it with us, which is so generous. Eire is a stunning country. I was to move to Co. Mayo many years ago, and at the 11th hour, we went to the Middle East. My (then) husband was in construction and Eire was booming. I’d still love to live there. I don’t like living in NW England, and, ideally, I’d love to go to the SW of Eire, from where some friends hailed.
I hope this isn’t an offensive question, but are folk accepting of we English moving in to your beautiful country? The troubles affected N Ireland, I know, but I have many, many Irish friends from my time in Oman, and I thought the world of them. To be amongst people like them would be wonderful.

When we come to Ireland we always head to Wexford way. In courtown this year I loved all the sarcastic " pick up your dog poop" signs. .. hilarious 😘😘
Haha and if you don't you'll be landed with a hefty fine 😂😂 I love Courtown, especially in the Summer time! Such a quirky little village :) x

I went on a little tour of the country. Went to Dublin, Belfast, killarney, Galway and a few more, it was a couple of places on the outer part of Ireland and I completely fell in love with it, the people are amazing, my experience was really really lovely. You should !! You wont regret it, I feel that my trip to Ireland was one of the most amazing things Ive done in my life!! Love your channel by the way

We have a seal sanctuary where I am in the Shetland Isles they also look after birds and otters, the people who run these places never get enough Praise for what they do........love Ireland haven't been there in Years, played Golf at the Ballymascanlon hotel in Dundalk where my brothers God parents live, will visit some day soon xx
Definitely not and it's upsetting to hear that they receive no government funding. Absolutely amazing people that do it out of the goodness of their hearts. I just couldn't believe how many steps there are in the rehabilitation process, the lengths they go to! Aw I've actually heard of that hotel, it's meant to be gorgeous! I'd be no use at that sort of golf haha I can just about manage crazy golf 😂x
