The way it is now, each team is given a question, so if it’s a tough category, they’re stuck with it. The ability to pass it to the other team and then steal their points made it amusing and more strategic.

It is very true, the hospitals are easily overwhelmed and poorly equipped with cheap workers. The waiting list for operations can be dangerously long aswell. Thats why in countries like Norway, people who have money still seek out private hospitals even though they have free healthcare.

This idea that it is a perfect sollution is overplayed, but it is also not its issue in the US. For the US it would be particularily scummy since some parts of the country (generally poor ones) have alot more violent crime causing more gun and knife wounds in a year than most similarily advanced countries see in decades, while other parts of america see extremely low numbers when it comes to violent crime. This basically means that the people who know how to behave would pay more while the people who don't know how to behave would pay less, because the well behaving ones would pay for all their hospital bills and drug treatments. That is extremely unfair, it would be reasonable in a country like Norway where the majority of people pay for their own treatment through taxes, but thats not the case in the US. The divison is extreme. Thats not a problem most of these free healthcare nations have because they don't have so big cultural divisions within their borders (though some of them are about to be there, Britain can't afford their healthcare in 10 years).
