I'd say do Darkbeat next, and it is chapter 1. Darkbeat is also different, but it's a bit more of a musical difference. Ankor tend to be an oddball sound, as they tend to be a bit all over the place, a bit like Japanese bands tend to be, which to me is a good thing.
I saw Ankor live a month or 2 ago, and Jessie sings just like that live. There is another member of the band that also does growls, so when you get the smooth and the growls at the same time on the studio, track they can also do it live.
And I think the plan is to play in the US next year at some point.

Oh man I'm jonesing for ANKOR to come to America! They're one of my top 5 favorite metal bands right now, with Jinjer, Spiritbox, Future Palace, and IKINÄ from Finland. I'd walk a mile (or drive several hours) to see these guys!

Glad you discovered this killer band! They've quickly invaded my top 5 since discovering them a few months ago. Yeah Jessie can really sing. She reminds me a bit of Queen Tatiana, or Courtney from Spiritbox, with the quality of her cleans and her harshes, and how quickly and creatively she can switch it up.
You definitely need to check out the other chapters. Darkbeat is my personal favorite. When all 5 parts are released I feel like it's gonna hit a lot like Spiritbox's new Fear of Fear EP. In other words, fucking killer!
PS Check out a band called IKINÄ from Finland! They have not one but TWO badass hot female singers who can sing beautifully and scream like demons--and they do it in harmony!
