Going for the 8x flush multiplier at the end was correct. I know it's a bit nerve wracking at $100 per hand, but you can get a big payout with a multi-hit on 10-play.

A cruise isn't free if you are spending $$$ in the casino to get it. Too many people fall for that trap. Almost as bad as the time share free steak dinners! Good luck!

Obviously, you have to play in the casino in order to earn a "free" cruise. The point is that you can save an awful lot of money by understanding how the players club works and how to use the system to your advantage. For our last two cruises, valued at about $9,000 we lost a total of $1,500 in the casino.

I'm curious what the current result year to date is with live streams because they're only shown through 7/15 so it's about 2 months behind. Hopefully you're still ahead. Better luck in the next video!

We will try to update those results on a more timely basis.

Didn't the cruise have a casino?

Around the 19 minute mark Dad said he and Mom earned another free cruise. Meaning, yes, the were in the casino.

Its funny that you "teach" video poker and throw away a winning pair that could result in a full house or quad.

I didn't see any hands where they incorrectly threw away a pair. What's the timestamp to the hand you're talking about? (Edit, I suppose you're talking about their play after UX Gold. I didn't watch that part yet.) (Edit #2: Yeah, if you're talking about the hand at 13:50, I would probably keep QQ over 4 to an outside straight, but I'm not an expert at UX DDB strategy. In Bonus Poker, you'd keep the pair for sure, but 2 pair pays 10 in BP instead of 5 in DDB.) (Edit #3: Matt thought about it some more and also concluded that he should have kept QQ. So everyone makes mistakes, but what's important is that you learn and improve in similar situations moving forward!)
