    -Intro music is "The Builder" by Kevin Macleod. It is ROYALTY FREE with NO COPYRIGHTS.
    I decided to make a video of all the miniature crossings I have recorded, aside from a few StL Zoo crossings since they're similar and it takes forever to download the videos. Anyways, enjoy!

      @@kyleb06 _ I also prefer the ones that use the same parts as the real deal. There is one at Brandywine Picnic Park (between greater Wilmington, DE and West Chester, PA) that uses genuine parts - I remember it because I went there for a family reunion two decades back. They have a children's type train that traveled on a road - not track, but there it crosses a paved path, they put up a crossbuck and lights - no gate. You see the same sort of crossing on rail trails in some locations, and *people crossings* in several states (the AMTRAK station in New London, CT at the entrance to the east parking lot) - Florida has them where Tri-Rail (pssenger railroad in southern Florida) crosses major streets - Baltimore (MD) Light Rail has a few of them at several stations - and not just for vehicles.

      @kyleb06  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks! Yea, I'm not sure what the heck happened to the first Kirkwood crossing. I plan to revisit the one with Type-B lights as the gated crossing there got a new signal installed, and appears to actually have a WRRS gate mechanism.

    • @RXRMidwest

      @@kyleb06 It's down because they don't want cars going in through that entrance. The gates have seen many changes sometimes they don't work, sometimes they are both down, sometimes they work while both down, sometimes they turn on but the gates go down it's really weird. Also one time the one gate entering the museum at the main entrance lost its gate I assume a car hit the gate.

    • @PGHammer21A
      @PGHammer21A 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@cole5282 Depends on what street it is for. Some crossings of military spurs in Maryland have lights - but no gates; two that have been converted into trails never had gated crossings unless they crossed divided highways - and one (that crossed MD 235 into NAWCAD Patuxent River) never had that! (You read that right; major installation - it still is, in fact - major highway, just north of the installation's main gate - and no gate at the crossing of the choo-choo tracks! I was doing a parts delivery to the installation's IT Division.)
