Thanks for showing us the damage of hurricanes Dave As Canadians we escape to the Estero Beach & Tennis Club during Christmas holidays each year for many years. Love the Island, keep up the great work
You got to wonder if those condos will ever be open for use again. Will people ever come back? Also get an industrial grapple on the small and large track loaders they are a time saver
No just needs some TLC nothing structural is damage. They are bringing sand soon!! They are doing up to Lania Kai Then jumping to the south and them back down north later according to Mayor Dan Allers.
You know, as a general contractor when I walked up on the building and looked at it. The parts of the building that are damaged, they're not structural. One of the pilings did have a little bit of damage, but it was minor the rest of the building.Though the floor under the first uh, level got undermined and in order to fix the plumbing in that they had to take the floor out and it was a heavy duty job. The unfortunate thing is, the water is SO close to that building that I don't know. If the beach renurchment could start closer to that building and the one on leonardo arms to try to help them now, since we're doing this beach rennourishment, all the way down our beach, it's an amazing amount of sand
I live in Nova Scotia in Eastern Canada and have family who live in Florida or regularly winter there. We regularly get hit with hurricanes, some very devastating. Fiona (2 years ago) and Juan (about 10 years ago) caused considerable damage, but noting compared to what you suffered. Unfortunately, with climate change and higher water levels, it will only get worse. I find your channel very interesting. Keep up the good work and stay safe.
I’m sure you do but it would be nice to see you get in there and roll your sleeves up and get in there with your guys !! Nothing better than a hard working man ! 😉
Fun fact: Bermuda Dunes is the same building as EB&T next door... They built the first 3 EB&T buildings in the 70s and did the pilings and foundation for Building 4...but never completed it. Bermuda Dunes was built in the 1990s on top of the 1970s foundation of the failed Building 4 project.
What about this, take a designated secluded section of the beach line, 300ft. or 400ft.x 100ft. Take used good round tires and lay them out on the beach like Oreo Cookies. Sort them out, truck and car tires. Study what equipment is needed to streamline the operation. once all the tires lay out touching each tire as a whole. Pour cement into the center. Then let set. When dry, nicely leveled, now pour rough sand in all the empty spaces. (Before starting) take pictures, before and after, step by step, document. Now, the second layer, same as the first. You can get the beach up over 2-feet or even higher. Surfside Texas beach, 50 miles south of Galveston, is gone, been gone. Because people look and do nothing. On the second layer you can put white sand. You could put large round soft blocks kind like a turtle shell on both sides. Colors pale, green, pale pink, pale yellow, pale brown, to enhance the beach. Also, in some tires, have plants. Millions of tire companies, big and small, all have unwanted tires. I like that beach.
The best part is this could last 60 to 120 years! Each time can work on adding cool lay outs. I like that beach beautiful enhancement. th-cam.com/video/V5acDyeqM38/w-d-xo.htmlsi=JLCFg5nz9urKNZeW
That is an interesting idea. I'm not sure what kind of impact that would have on the beach ecosystem, but it's something to think about. Hope you subscribed.
Your heavy interest in the “tweaked” doors feels a way. That’s the reason the building won’t use them again right. Because they’re tweaked. But they’ll fit safely in someone else’s house, just not this one?
We could only salvage one window from this job. These condo buildings throw away perfectly good stuff all the time. Thanks for watching and thanks for the comment!! Hope you subscribed!
Thank you so much for keeping us updated... Good Work!
Trying our best!

Hello from Siesta Key Florida
Thanks for watching! Hope you subscribed!
Its a little worrisome since I stay right next door. I suppose its like a tornado takes one house and doesn't touch the next house
You are good it's nothing structural!!
better to pull it down?

Fort Myers Beach Florida is the NEW Hurricane Alley !
Sadly yes we hope to give up the title soon!
Looks dangerous for that building to still be standing after multiple storms undermining it, especially after that condo collapse in south fl.
