It's funny I was watching an old episode of Scott's Coldwarmotors where one of his buddies asked him to trailer his new van home. It was up in Canada and it was the same exact van but it was a Fargo 1968 flavor. I often wonder why ferd and dodge made different names and such instead of just selling the same thing with the same badges everywhere, you know? Seems a lot of bother to me! Nice to find your channel from Uncle Tony on here!
Neat old vans. One of the older kids in our scout group drove one hauling us around. D 108 Camper long wheel base, blue/Blue, fully finished factory interior, dash mounted T- shifter, self-extending step under passenger side cargo doors, both back seats folded flat, 4bbl V8 w/duals- dunno 273,318, or larger-scooted! And yes, there was a D100 4x4 one at my HS, D100 cargo based, V8 on 33's, looked good, kinda wanted one. About 11 yeats ago it turned up in my local U-pull-it. You know the Washington rules- if it hits the yard it's a goner. It was in maddenly good shape still- light dirt like parked in a carport for decades. Had 360/727/203. The dash T-shifter and grab bar were gone, along with the intake off the 360. Looks like the transfer case was shifted by a heavy cable (boat?) between the shifter mounted to the doghouse next to the drivers seat and the t-case- somebody had been tryimg to get it too. Outta time- by next weeked it was picked to the bone, sections of body cut off, too. Hope it got somebody's rig on the road.
Damn. That’s a bummer. I’ve seen a couple more around lately, but none as clean as the yellow one. I thought 4x4 adventure van build would be amazing… I need to limit my goals to things i can actually get done in my lifetime. Haha.
@@DeadDodgeGarage We had talked & kept a eye out for 3 decades for the muscle cars & trucks we knew from HS. Found a few, found out others that had been sold out of state, or wrecked. Be nice to find the missing, but not in a wrecking yard. That van still had the scratches on the windshield from Mt St Helens ash from it hiccupping & blowing up.
Well, I delivered it some hundreds of miles from home, and that was after doing the repairs for the guy and swapping the wheels. With all of that I got $3700 total.

I’m not sure on the name plate thing, but it’s interesting. Thanks!
Had a 63 impala with a 3 on the tree. As a kid I was confused how it had an auto shifter and a clutch...but as a farm kid...I figured it out. Lol.

Stellar content so far!
I like the videos before i watch them...... Jamie, is that good.😂
😅
Could the a100 fit a full sheet of plywood in the back? I know the a108 could
I’m not sure on that, actually. A friend owns one and I could probably find out at some point.
How much did you get out of it. I just bought one, and wondering if I got a good deal

Unfortunately I sold the whole van and they went with it. He said he wanted to put them back in.
