    Hello Ms. Nelca, another great video. If you dont mind can you tell me how did you add those additional objects like TVs, Kitchen tables, stoves, and other objects that are not included in dialux? Is there any external source you can give? And how about the material of those additional objects, are they user-defined? Thank you!

    Hello Nelca
    I am from science background and beginner to DiALux. Are you taking some readymade file and uploading to DIALux for lighting study of the building? May I know which software is used to create the map of the building where lighting study is required to perform.
    I hope to receive a reply from experts on this.
    Thanks

    Thank you for the video, is it possible to create 2 lighting zones like in a classroom (near window area and far window area) with the possibility of lighting one area during the day and both at night. and see the savings we would make thanks to the contribution of natural lighting and the extinction of an area

    • @NelcaRoco
      @NelcaRoco  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      yes. use the light scene tab and create 2 calculation surfaces for that area.

    Hi Nelca. I admire your proficiency in Dialux.
    Regarding Daylighting, BS 8206-2 is about ‘Average Daylight Factor’ which is defined as the ratio of illuminance at a point on a given plane due to light received from a sky of known or assumed luminance distribution, to illuminance on a horizontal plane due to an unobstructed hemisphere of this sky. This percentage value requirement varies according to the room function (1% in bedroom, 1.5% in living rooms and 2% in kitchen).
    I haven’t done any daylighting calculation using Dialux so I don’t know how to relate the ‘lux’ level output (which you have done in the calculation) to this average daylight factor. Is there an equivalent value in Dialux for that in %? Please advise.

    • @NelcaRoco
      @NelcaRoco  8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Dear Leo, Thank you for your message and input information. I am not sure where to relate the percentage requirement you mentioned. All I know is the lux level for Kitchen must be at least 500 lux especially on the cooking and preparation table, while for living room will depend on the light scene and activity in that area, but usually 300 lux is enough. For bedroom, 100 - 200 lux is fine but must have at least reading light.
      Don't worry, I will read the BS and BREEAM reqt and hopefully create an update video regarding this.
      regards,
      Nelca-
