FYI, I learned from an extensive interview with Putri Ariani about the making of this performance that as part of the 89 tracks, Putri played several additional traditional percussion instruments from Southeast Asia that aren't shown. She incorporated these to achieve exact sounds and effects she orchestrated in her mind. From the same interview, I also discovered that her technical knowledge and use of advanced sound composition theory and digital engineering techniques are extraordinary. Although I don't fully understand itself, it involves playing sounds off each other with exquisite use of groupings, spacing, and timing. The Indonesian interviewer, a sophisticated musician and expert in the Indonesian music industry, had Putri walk him through some of the track arrangements in the song's production. He was shocked by her sophistication at just 13-14 years old. She's an autodidact who intuits deep knowledge and builds skills on the fly from bits of expertise she is exposed to from others.
