I searched this as a joke at first to see if anybody did a tas run, low and behold, a madman actually did it and the tas is insane, especially the bosses with zero. Over all good video
LLOOLL2008 the miniboss has no hitstun (so no period of invincibility) and the yammar option gets a new hitbox everytime it moves, so basically it got hit on every frame.

Gate, High Max, the nightmare system, Infinity Mijinion, the boring sigma fights, and let's not forget the level design (spike hell(s) anyone?). Everything conspires to make this game a miserable, boring time.
Zero's attacks can be cancelled by either turning, dashing or jumping. By cancel, we mean attack animation cancellation so you can perform another slash immediately without waiting for the animation to finish. Coincidentally, Zero's first slash doesn't trigger the bosses's invincibility mode so you can rapidly do dash-attack-dash-attack for rapid damage.
could this be done faster by using the ultimate armor code? x doesnt need special weapons to kill high max if he has the ultimate armor, infact, the nova strike will drain his health by at least half per use killing him in seconds and you can use it to get into the crystal in commander yamarks stage, or will it take too long to enter yammarks stage 2 or 3 times depending on how crucial yammark option is?
Short answer u can't this is a TAS (Tool Assisted Speedrun) in other words its either made completely by a computer or someone using tools and alot of the tricks here are pixel perfect and most of which are Humanly impossible

Overall Zero abilities actually has higher attack damage than X. Zero can ignore boss invincibility but X can’t :/.

I think they chose not to use it on purpose. Obviously the Ultimate Armour would make it fast as hell, but it would be REALLY cheap.
