i made this finally, and its pretty good but it doesnt taste like tommys. in your video you said 80/20 but in the description it says 85/15. Did you misspeak? Also besides that, are all your ingredient measurements accurate?
used to be a tommys near Samo Hi every lunch break as a freshmen circa 2008 i would 3 chilli fries, double chilli burger and a tamale i love In n Out don't get me wrong but people know The OG burger joint is Tommys. 30 now living in Seattle with my family have to get used to Dicks Drive in which is decent but nothing compares to being toasted ar 2 am and seeing the glowing light from a tommys burger shack and knowing you are welcome there and how it will save your life.

@@NikasKitchenCravings OMG Yes it was almost exactly like tommy burgers chili. I bought a brick of chili already made added beef broth and the flour and corn flour. The corn flour is what makes it creamy just like Tommy's. Thanks for the recipe because I used to have friends bring me some or once I had a Lyft take me to Tommy's from the airport lol...thx again 👍😁
Ok girl, I KNOW this has to be the truth bc when you started of at Randy’s donuts i immediately said “yasss and the Roscoe’s” and BOOM you were there and talked about it. I’ve been looking at TH-cam recipes for years since I moved to TX 7 yrs ago. As the videos slowly started tricking in from 1 ever to a few yours looks the closest. I need to book an LA trip just to eat and come back lmao. FYI, Tommy’s chili freezes well. When I go I bring some back with me on my flight frozen.

Hi there! It won't have the same taste but any thickening agent should work like flour or cornstarch. Also you can finely chop or grind corn tortillas or tortilla chips even! I'm all for creativity! 😊
