@@nimishapandita7431 I sprayed black hit in the evening to all branches and leaves.... After 15mins I sprayed normal water to wash it off... It miraculously saved my plant

you are right....my wife is big fan of these Palm but over the years I have seen big problems....they don't survive indoor for us!!! They look beautiful when you bring them home and after few weeks you can see leafs starts turning yellowish and then dry. We have 3 right now in horrible shape..almost dead. I noticed potting mix/soil that we used turned into like a stone (on the top surface) can't imagine what is going on underneath...we live in cold climate but the plants are always inside in weather that can range from 19 deg to 24 deg temperature. What type of potting mix should be used for these plants and how do you prepare the pot? Do you think I can do something so they can survive at least for a year? Thank you
Found this video on the right time.. now i understood that I am watering it everyday which lead to rotting of the leaf bases coming from stem. Now i know what to do.. i will save this plant at any cost

My areca plant kept getting brown leaves and I keep cutting them but they keep happening and one of the stems even got brown completely and I had to remove it! So according to this video, I was watering too little D: I was watering once every 1-2 weeks! So now I’m going to water every 3-4 days and hopefully that makes my areca happier and fuller!!

I have this variegated fiscus starlight. When I bought it had 5 to 6 branches full of leaves. Now only one branch has leaves nd rest of the branches are empty. Pls advise on how can I make it bushy? And what should I do with those empty branches? Will leaves grow again on that?
My arecas are growing wild in my backyard, they're about 25 to 30 feet tall, I live in South Florida, Milargonite every six months and palm fertilizer keeps them lush and green in direct sun. I've had them over 20 years already, were planted three feet apart, watered daily the first three months. Now they rely on our rain cycle for water. I only water after fertilizer, sometimes I forget. I've got a total of 50 plants, all original none had to be replaced. Arecas in pots tend to be finicky.

Is there any difference between indoor and outdoor areca palm?
When buyed from nursery it costs more bucks and small in size..
But when buyed from outside vendor, he gave me a big one in just 100 bucks..

When we take a plant from land and transplant them in a pot mostly that plant don't survive. Plz explain the reasons behind this and guide to solve this issue...
You rooted it very deep, roots should be on the same level as in previous pot and never touch the roots of Areca, they are very sensitive.

Thanks for the video, it really helps. Actually, I was almost murdered my Erica plants as I had kept them at my parking place which is entrance of the house as well. My bungalow since it is east facing there was direct sunlight and I was realising the tips turning brown and thanks to your earlier video and I immediately shifted them inside house one beside dining and another beside staircase. Now I realise that I need to shift the one from staircase place to a place nearby window, will do it ASAP. Thanks again.

Oh my gosh you saved my plant! I was watering it but not until it came out the bottom. My plant was wilting and all the leaves were going downward even though i was watering. I watered it until it seaped from the bottom and in 2 days all the leaves came alive and was upright again. lol

Hi, Thanks for sharing the tips for palm's health . Just in the recent past I tried decorating the corner of my living room but both the times my Palm has died within 3-4 months after turning its leaves from light to darker brown . Recent one started dying when repotted in a bigger decorative pot by adding garden mix soil , some sheep and cattle manure . Will you please advise something more than what is share here in this video for reviving my dying palm ...Thanks

Same is happening with my zz
Zz plants require don't require sunlight. Watering in 10 to 15 days. Jade plant grows in bright spot of the room and requires less water. Once a week.
It also happens to be sagging loose at the edges of the leaves, is it natural to happen?

Yes it's because of the water isn't draining or due to excess of water.

i am very much interested to know how to take care of jade plant .i tried many times but every time failed.
This video was really informative and gave some clues to identify common problems, thank you didi😊😊....I recently bought a peacelily in first week of october and it had two flower buds which were ready to bloom......last time, as I repotted rubber plant just after coming home and it died, this time I let peacelily adjust to the surrounding and repotted it after 2-3 days.....now it's been almost 4 weeks those flowers aren't blooming, and the leaf tips are browning....the base is soil+cocopeat and kept near balcony window with frequent watering.....I really care for it like my family member and don't want it to be 2nd plant died bcoz of me, next to rubber plant😔😔......please, some advice would really help me🙏
Probably too much light. They require low-medium lights
Avoid using cocopeat and improve drainage your plants will do well

Regarding fertilizer the local nursery has so many types.which one to buy.a plain vermicompost is enough for all types of plants or some specific fertilizer

I mean they are direct under sun
They use screening under the greenhouse windows. It’s rather sophisticated, with screens rated as “x% sun” or “y% sun”, indicating how much sun gets through.
My rubber plant stopped growing when I repotted them ::(
You might have damaged the primary root it will recover just prune the dead leaves and add more fertilizer to recover from heavy damage!
Stopped growing is okay unless it's dying.. place in sunny space and add fertilizer. It will pick up growth

I've a tomato plant which has grown nicely in the medium sized pot...it's flowering well BUT the problem is it doesn't produce any fruit...everytime flower blooms but ends drying up..

My palm tree was originally in red soil but I repotted the plant with new soil and fertilizers. Its turning brown from the stem area around the roots and if I touch my leaf they are coming out easily

Hi,,, thanks for your update on plants. It helps me alot in my personal gardening. I have question my Areca palm was very good suddenly it rotten from healthy stem and fall down. And when i cut it down,, i saw it was completely dead and dark brown. Due to tgat it could not stand and fall down. Can you please suggest why it happened. It was very good in growth and beautiful. It was with heavy stem. Can it harm to another stem also. What should i do. Please suggest.

I have one of these palms in my room (in the US called cat palm?) And it has a bad case of spider mites. Despite the mites I still see healthy new leaves coming out. I brought 2Areca palm home, repotted it after few days provided similar conditions... kept one indoor and other outdoor, have fertilised it with vermicompost as well . Soil is well drained, still my Areca palm is not showing any new growth it’s been 2.5 months. Please advice what can be done to make it bushy.

I have 2 Arecas one at home ,doing good v healthy leaves..but the other one is at my workplace.. I bought it healthy..watered it at intervals as required.. there is no infestation.. and the room is well lit without direct sunlight..but it is at the verge of dying.. stems and leaves have turned brown.
Can in any way it can be saved?
My room doesnt have a window .. does a proper air circulation matter ? It is kept beside the door that opens outside..
Hiii thanks for the video my areca palm is medium sized kept in my room near the window and it's a well lit room... I have been watering it as per the the time u have mentioned but it's leaf just came out with the stem from the main stem also some leaves are extremely dried up... Please help what else should I do... For now I have added a organic fertilizer to it and have kept it outside in the garden.

I have recently got some succulent and one of my succulent is not even a month old... it seems like it is already dying... can you please advise me on that... I don't have morning ka dhoop but after 2pm sunrays are there... As I am a beginner I think the problem was overwatering but I want to save this one.... plz advise on... how can I save the dying succulent....Suddenly one day I was moving the plant from one place to another and mistakenly I touched one of the leaf and suddenly wo toot gayi.... And then one by one sab toot gyi.....So I planted these leaves in another pot... But they are also not doing well....

Hi - your point on watering thoroughly, could you elaborate on why that needs to be done? I have a habit of doing ''light'' watering every alternate day on my Areca - tips are yellowing, wonder if its not overwatering/underwatering but quantity of water itself. Thanks
