The amount of resellers I see that won't sell anything that doesn't give them a profit of over $20. To me any profit is good and it adds up, glad to see someone like you.

They don’t even pick things up unless their profit will be more than $30. But the stuff in my area is mediocre at best. It’s eye opening to see how much money you can still make selling average items and only profiting $10:or less per item! It also makes me wonder if I have some of my things priced too high to begin with. You always help me see the total picture! I learn something from you with every video! I’m planning to purge my inventory this fall/winter, and kind of start fresh. Love your thrifted dress! It looks great on you! I hope everything is going well for you and your family. Yes, I watch others and it’s pretty funny, an item that I would be excited over they will say they would never pick up! 😂 But, you have to source what is available and make it work! It does encourage me when I time myself and add up the numbers and see that even these mediocre items can provide a great hourly rate of work! Yes! I find that some of these items are saturated so the key is listing them where they are at a competitive price so they will sell. I do sometimes use numbers if I have similar looking items or an item is not easily identified after I pre-package it and I am afraid I might not be certain later. I try to avoid the need to reopen the package when an item sells! I have been experimenting with leaning more towards individual numbers within my bins and I’m really liking it! I think the main thing is to be sure it is a dated system so that if you make an error on your SKU you have a date to go by to find the item. It has saved me from searching for items soooo many times!

Yes, this is how I report my numbers: Gross = The amount the buyer paid Earnings = The amount I receive back in the bank after fees, taxes and postage are taken out Cost of goods = How much I paid Profit = How much money I made after all costs are removed but before I pay income tax I rarely offer free shipping.
