Finally, Uncharted Ocean 2 will come out on Nov. 6th for English. Apparently, UO2 is quite different from UO ,so UO2 is just like UWO that you will able to disembark at land points for adventure and battle.

Thank you for letting me know! It's funny, I was looking into the genre last week and still somehow missed this title. I find it a little bit of a red flag that the intro video for Uncharted Ocean 2 starts with a HiRabbit logo, and the Steam developer name is technically a different entry from the Uncharted Ocean 1's "HiRabbitgame" company. This form of distancing suggests either bureaucratic problems or trying to sweep one of the games under a rug.
Since you've mentioned it, and the game is listed as free to play, I will definitely look to releasing at least a video on it, even if online games are not typically something I try! You once said you were playing Uncharted Waters Origin, which is also an online game. How was it for you?

@@TranPlays I played both. Origin is a pure P2W now since they're heavy depend on gacha which is totally broken like I mean players can invest with red gems that's what made Origin broke since there is no way for F2P players to win investment competition. Unlike UWO, it doesn't have cash ships nor land battles. Uncharted Waters Online is rather outdated ,but it's fun to play despite it's P2W because you can acquire overpowered ships from Treasure Cove or Tickets even though you can buy cash ships from other players. At least, players can stop to ask for tickets to exchange for their ships. IMO, UWO is better than Origin when comes to PVP and land battle/adventures as well as gameplay. funny, Uncharted Ocean 2 does reminded me of Suikoden 1& 2 because of graphics especially buildings ,so i guess that's why i wanna to play Uncharted Ocean 2. Of course, I plan to play Star Ocean 2nd storyR as well.

Yo Tran, have you played Uncharted Ocean 2 yet > I think it came out couple months ago. I plan to play this and Sailing Era after I am done with Uncharted Waters Origin.

You're a braver captain than me! I hadn't heard of either of those two, but looking at their Steam pages suggests turbulent waters ahead.

      Howdy again! Welcome back!
The uploads for Uncharted Ocean haven't caught up to me. But I love this game! I've completed the current limit of the storyline, and have been trying to continue to build up a formidable fleet for when the next update occurs.
As with most open world playlists, I show a slow, gradual progression before I start editing out the day-to-day activities and focusing more on distinct events during gameplay, such as story-based progression or milestones in strength development.

@@TranPlays I always enjoy seeing what can be expected to be found in a game. Most Letsplayers only show the Best parts and while it may be satisfying to watch it also cheapens the experience
So your style sounds great showing the norm and the juicy parts :)

Oh I just started to play , so I have few questions for this game.
    1. What are the best method to collect ropes and linen fabrics ?
    2. Where do I find Louis XIV that a scholar requested ?. Oh, I need her to be my scholar so that I can get past quest that Tunisia King wants discovery.
    3. How can I get promotion items ? since they're extreme rare to show up @black market.
    4. Where can I get Giant Dhow blue prints ?.
    Thanks a lot

Oh, I must have misread since I realize it's Louis IX's armour which can be found at Turkey North Coast which is east of Istanbul. Thanks to you since you showed me when you open list of investment rewards ,so Istanbul has Giant Dhow even though I will need almost 15m to unlock it. LOL

I've been obsessed with Dragon Quest Builders 2 Jumbo Demo (PC) for the past couple days, so I missed your comments.
#1: Ropes and linen fabrics, if you are still looking for them, will naturally fall into your lap as you search ruins for artifacts and iron plates.
#3: Promotion items can be found off of high level pirates in addition to the monthly black market in single cities. Look around Africa's coastline for lots of them.
It looks like you have your answer to the other two questions. Fair winds, Kagemusha!

more like a mobile game than a pc game?

    • @TranPlays
      @TranPlays  4 ปีที่แล้ว

It started out as a mobile game. I haven't played it myself, so I don't know what the differences are, but some traces of mobile stuff can still be found. Such as the most powerful ships being listed as "Limited Mall Shop" only, or the heavy progression skewed in one direction and one direction only.
In Uncharted Waters and Sid Meier's Pirates, even small ships had their uses; one game was turn-based with forward speed & turning angles, and the other was real-time with the ability to dodge cannonfire. In this game, they will be automatically hit and sunk, even some of your larger ships if they are going up against a "higher tier." Fire Emblem, for example, features rock-paper-scissors domination as weapon styles. This game leans heavily towards higher caliber of ship over strategies, though that isn't to say thinking and preparing have no factor in the game.
It's like having the option to pay for a Firebat Hero versus building Firebats & Marines normally in StarCraft. They both have their uses (though I was always partial to the cheaper Marines, myself).
