Hey Bengal, you can actually make substitutes if you’re in player lock. In order to do so you have to get out of player lock if you want to by pressing right trigger on xbox (I assume it’s the same with ps) in the substitution screen. (Can go back to player lock by pressing it again).
For irl, India’s defense has killing me this year. And his past 2 weeks have been extremely brutal (a grand slam with the game out of reach not withstanding). I’m really hoping for a CES at 1B, McClain at 2B, Noelvi at SS and Elly at 3B, with Steer at LF next year

pitch to contact pitchers are usually sinker ballers whose goal is to get you to make weak contact rather than getting the ball by you or getting a ton of swings and misses so the K/9 rating basically is how good the pitcher is at getting strikeouts and H/9 is how good a pitcher is at limiting hits low K/9 means less strikeouts meaning youre gonna have to find other ways to get batters out

I mean, why can't you swap Collier and Vosler? Keep Pederson as your starting 1st baseman, but get Collier some playing time, too. Why WOULDN'T you want to do this?

What does “pitch to contact” mean and when I have a pitcher that doesn’t have a high K/9 attribute how do I go about pitching to contact ?
