@@piplupsingularity i'm heading to it too, but in career mode. still not sure if kerbals will survive the radiation and won't get crazy during 5-years trip :)
@@basila33 Radiation shielding helps, but it gets really heavy. Crew stress in Kerbalism is supposed to be "cured" by centrifuge parts (according to The Destroyer [TD Channel] on their Discord server), but I never really got it to work, so I just disabled stress breakdowns in the settings. I also did this mission in sandbox.
@@piplupsingularity there is the limit in Kerbalism, you can't have comfort time greater than ~4 years, no matter how big is the living space of the ship and if it has centrifuge and greenhouse. i hope it solves by "infinity habitat" tech which i recently opened. i'll know soon, the ship is building already :)
Finishing it off with a sprinkle of dangerous radiation from the reentry of the "earth arrival stage" containing a nuclear engine at 11:31, strewn across the ocean, i guess even Japan doesn't care about the fishing industry. I probably don't need to mention it but this is just a joke
I didn't know you had a youtube channel, or did a ceres mission! this is so cool
Nicely shot video! It's a pleasure to watch.
“Kei Nagase”
Love the Ace Combat reference
She went on a multi-year mission to the asteroid belt, after all.
@@piplupsingularityYes in Ace Combat
But in your universe she exists on a mission to Ceres
correction: RL10 is the usual hydrogen version, not the alternative methane version
finally, a new video
BEL! TA! LO! DA!
I really like the way how you use chemical propulsion on your transfer vehicles
This transfer vehicle uses nuclear thermal propulsion because a lot of changes in velocity are needed.
@@piplupsingularityWhat mod did you get the NTRs from?
What was that hollow docking port you used to construct the crew transport
Annular Truss Docking Connector from Near Future Construction (with TweakScale)

what mod gave them manlike skin tones?
the next goal is Callisto, i suppose? :)
Definitely!

@@basila33 I know that, hence TD mentioning that SSPXr centrifuges are supposed to have a "curing" mechanic that reduces it to zero.

After detaching the capsule, the Earth Arrival Stage made sure to correct its trajectory so that it did not enter Earth's atmosphere.
