I can almost see three generations polishing a tractor the same as great grandpappy is sitting on, smiling proudly, in the sepia photo in the family album. And I can almost see baskets covered in gingham overflowing with baking from great grandma's stained, yellowing, fiercely guarded, handwritten recipe book

David I'm a nice guy and usually don't say anything, but the intro tractor is a ford 9 n, you can see the ford emblem on the front of the cowl and also on the fender. If you talking about the one that she is driving. I have this same tractor or at least the ones she was driving.. acquired it from my grandpa.. tons of memories.

As anyone who has ever met her at one of her shows can attest, the real and friendly and approachable Mary you see in this video is who she really is. My daughter and I have a picture with her and she gave my daughter some musical advice, too :)

I live in a small town, and believe it or not, they have a tractor show! things have changed though, now the tractors are hugh, and cost 700,000 bucks or more! Mean Mary shure can play a ''MEAN" banjo"! tHIS WAS ALOT OF FUN TO WATCH!

Dad was in the Navy so I didn't live the farm life but he and Mom were both Missouri farm kids. Dad has some stories to tell involving Farmall tractors. So does Harry at model railroad club. Oh, and the video is most entertaining!
Great talents and a fantastic video. I'm from Minnesota and we have a tractor show at the State Fair every year. I also filmed it because the tractors are very cool to see. Also your edit team did an excellent job on this video by the way. Have a good one and peace to all.
I love how these are edited, that little girl's smile was sincere and the footage of the guys hauling the instruments uphill, their heads bent with that "here we go again" look. I bring this up in that I see spoons being used, I just thought you might like to know, or be reminded of, that old show named "Hee Haw." In relation to the spoons idea, the Hee Haw Grandpa Jones did do things that tried to remind people of the old ways, and one of the truly unique segments I can remember is when he did a song using cowbells, they were in hand, attached to elbows, and shoes, and it was a great performance. Just an idea. Be Safe.
