I think he meant that we, all around the world, would be happy for her to be known worldwide, so all 7 billion people would finally get to know her. That has nothing to do with a “coming out” of some sorts; and even if she is gay she’ll never come out knowing how Korean media and society are. She’s also a very private person so even if Korean society is open minded I think she would mind her own business and go on with her life.
