No lithium battery is going to work at minus 20 Degree weather That's why the BMS powered down. All you needed to do was warm it up in your car or home. Mike
I think your issue is "Device Timeout" settings. After 12hrs, if nothing has pulled power from the unit, it shuts itself off based on this setting, which can be disabled. I changed mine to 24hrs and now it doesn't shut off. It can be disabled as well...
What version firmware are you running? up to the one before last, the "Lab" features allowed for AC "always on" in the settings. The latest one (which did break some stuff, so be warned) actually disables "AC timeout" in the options if you have "AC always on" enabled. I have a Delta Pro with the SHP and haven't had this particular issue come up since I enabled that option, but it's possible that I've just been lucky.
I recently installed the Ecoflow ultra. I did have one issue where the inverter started flashing all kinds of lights but the app displays worked perfectly. That night Ecoflow downloaded new firmware which I installed the next morning. Since then I have done everything to try to create a similar problem. The system seems to be bomb proof.
First comment! Ihave 2 power kits in parallel with the smart home panel. Pricey no doubt but for my off grid situation so far so good. It's been a year now. I did have issues like yours, not accepting AC in, Battery needed calibration, AND Of course my AC shutting down! However it was crappy firmware issues and resolved. Best advice... When one has a firmware that works Don't update anymore unless a new feature becomes available that one is interested in for example some alternator charging updates, well I am in a house so no need for alternators. I updated last 5 months ago and all is well. Give Ecoflow a chance as u mentioned the screen has not worked well from the start so maybe that unit is defective? Anyway keep us posted👍
I updated the fireware only once, and it helped slightly with the screen but still didnt resolve it. Its a decent product, I just truly don't think its meant to be used the way we are.
I'd like to see your setup with the powerkit and SHP. No one seems to have this setup. Thanks! And ya I agree I once had a AC turnoff then updated and I've been running for 6 months and haven't had a single hiccup and my delta pro is on every day with 1800 watts of solar. Works perfect.
OMG, the EXACT same thing happens to my Delta Pros! I have several units and all of them have had the issue with AC turnimg off for no reason. Like you, it's my sole system and off-grid, so everything shuts off for me. Numerous contacts with customer service have not resolved the issue. Looks to be firmware related because jt started after a certain FW version, but has never been fixed even after multiple FE updates to newer versions.
So the issue was that it couldn't be started remotely, and I'm guessing that's because there was no wifi? If you go into the settings and lab, you will see AC always on, so if it turns off, it will turn itself back on.
@MapleOffGrid It shouldn't be turning off unless it's overloading or it's reaching the timeout set. The smart generator doesn't auto start. Might I ask how it's connected to the DP?
Tive um problema desse mexendo no aplicativo e apertei o botão de desligar sem querer sendo que ele alimentava o meu roteador então eu tive que sair do trabalho pra ir até em casa pra religar o equipamento
Have had 3 Delta Pro units and all 3 failed at the solar input. I returned one and that was the 3rd failure. I repaired both myself along with a stern warning from Ecoflow about their warranty. Like these 100 lb devices are easily shipped.
Just saw this video. You have to put the AC in the APP to NEVER. it turns off on very small draws. This is why you must change the mode to never turn off
Hey I know you! Why hasn’t TH-cam put your vids in my feed? Anyhoo, that is a bummer that this is happening. I’ve had some weird voltage discharge issues with my Renogy setup this winter. I was thinking of making a vid about it and pinging you on the forums. As far as EcoFlow setups are concerned, I have been buying some of them to see if they are something good to move to in the future. Sorry to hear you are having problems!
It’s the Firmware may want to update, IMHO. Your is a very specific situation where you need WiFi remote access. Would be very rare for normal people, especially with the firmware update the auto restarts on Solar Input if I understand correct.
They have serious problems with their firmware. We run 2 DP’s, 4 EB’s and 2 smart gens. We are on an old version of the firmware that is working correctly. Version .61
The bluetti is exactly the same way, building your own system is better than the generator concept unless you are using it daily or on a weekend outing.
A lot of power stations and custom built systems inverter will shut off if they don’t detect any draw from the battery. So really you just haven’t balanced your system!
Theres always some draw here, minimum 150w. Being as cold as it was it likely went up to 500-600w for 5-10 min at a time while the heat line was running.
I hope no one read my scathing comment on my Delta 2 Max. I made an error ...the thing works fine now. In fact with a bit of sun & haze today & not even close to proper alignment ...I'm getting 200 watts ...when the haze passes I'm at 330 watts. This is March 2 in eastern Canada. It will power our freezer for a couple days without needing a recharge. I'm extremely happy with it now that I got it working.

Mine doesn't shut off by itself. I've used it for off-grid for over 2 years.

Não é não! O AC desliga sozinho mesmo que você nunca desligue a peça.
I had that setting disabled. I’ve since sold my EcoFlow setup and got a different system.
@@MapleOffGridwhat system did you get?

1.0.1.61. AC always on is enabled, and set to never turn off under AC timeout. Its glitchy. The SHP is not available in Canada
EF IS ON A DOWNHILL TREND GET YOUR REFUND AND BUILD A CUSTOM SYSTEM FOR HALF OF THE COST!
I have 2 EcoFlow products…. NEVER EVER AGAIN!!!!!! Waste of money. Unreliable products!

Loving the AC200L. I've been able to start the AC remotely via wifi
It's a standard feature.

Correct. That is set to on in the Labs section, it doesn’t work half the time.

Damn, they suck.
Glad I found this..
New subscriber BTW. Later man.
Thanks for making this
It turns off when there isn't a significant draw, after several minutes. Read your manual maybe.
yes delta 2 issues here v7 weeks of wrong advice from ecoflow, fightning shipping label now, only charges from wall not panel s w a r is on lol
5 panel will work 5 configurations later 3 roof in series ugh all info before buying now after i get sorry no service
Where is the unit when it is being used? If in an unheated area, at minus 20, that's below its operating range and no telling what will happen.......
The bluetti is exactly the same way, building your own system is better than the generator concept unless you are using it daily or on a weekend outing.
Yep, the "generator" setup is easy but just not a reliable solution for full time use.
I bought that thing, what a nighmare. I traded it for some dental work when they sent me a new one.
I would pull that switch and wire in a toggle switch if it happened once.
Victron! 🤙

@@Trillville43 Because when the power (AC inverter button) goes out, the internet goes out so its impossible to remote connect to turn it on.
Check settings. AC timeout=Never
Makes no difference. It is set to that.
They should rename the brand itto EcoFlaw
Ecoflow support is dismal!
These are junk ! Wasted 1k on mine 😊 so happy I had to learn this valuable lesson NOT
