We copy a lot from America, but Thanksgiving is a bridge too far hahah. Although I'm sure sometime in the future we'll even copy that.. even if it makes no sense.
@@birdland85 it made sense to the pilgrims (aka invaders ) to give thanks for surviving harsh winters , retaliation from the land owners/dwellers (aka natives, Indians) and for a new harvest / plenty of food. Today , we give thanks for different things. So if you don't think those things didn't or don't make sense , then yes , by all means stick to whatever it is yall celebrate... or don't.
@@lennyp4782 I said it doesn't make sense for Dutch people to have Thanksgiving, but we probably will some day. Although by then there it's probably not allowed to celebrate Christmas anymore cause its offensive to other groups.
