Roger is hysterical, he has some of the funniest lines. He's the best character on the show after Barny. I just wish he'd slap some sense into his idiot son.

And Roger's "fearful youth" seems to be returning. I saw him looking at the portrait over the fireplace. That and the one in the hall closest to the study's door have him a bit shaken. He was talking earlier about the "dead people stared at me wherever he went". Have you truly outgrown it, Roger?
It was Sarah not Barnabas as he knows nothing about David taking Burke and Dave to the secret room- she was around David when he was telling them the secret.
I think so too. I believe she left the flute to let David know that she had blocked the mechanism. She's not happy about David's telling Burke and Dr Woodard about the secret room. She's trying to protect Barnabas.

Well duh! Did it ever occur to anyone that if David saw the coffin he would run back & tell everyone & that the best course of action would be to move it? Yeah I'll just leave it there for everyone to find. Pretty bad when the only ones willing to help David are two people outside the family. Roger's so pompous he's more worried about saving face then saving David. Got a problem, send him away. Useless bag of bones. Go crawl back into the closed wing for another twenty episodes.
Well, to be fair, David has lied to his family a lot. It's no wonder that only outsiders would be willing to help, they haven't been subjected to his almost constant lies. He is the boy who cried wolf, after all.
