    Another great video, Robin! I've had mine just over 3 months now and you have captured the overall experience perfectly. It is very entertaining to see the look on people's faces when they realize that glorious sound is coming from a Jag SUV!

    Hey! Thanks for detailed and funny review. Thank'ou for sharing your experience by letting all those cheers and laughter expressions to come up. I'm making my mind between this 2023 Jag 5L V8 SVR, 2023 Jag 3L V6 diesel and the Genesis GV70 3.5L Sport Prestige.
    By the way, thanks for the clear and understandable English. Greetings from Colombia.

      Wow, thank you for all those kind words! Good luck deciding, all have their strengths. The 5L definitely sounds the best, but that’s one of many factors.

    I configured one black outside with those wheels and all white leather interior and some bits to come at a price of 134000 chf. Unfortunately they loose value so harshly that i would love to pick a one year old svr for half price but nobody configurates it they way i want:(

      I know some time has gone by since your post, but there’s a lot of misinformation out there on JLR reliability. If you really research this car, you’ll find that it’s pretty reliable. I have a ‘23 with 16k on it, no issues to report.

    Anyone with the 5l s/c jaag engine should allways get the Mina gallery. So your s/c can breath better & you get to hear the s/c more. Jag allways restrict the air flow for some stupid reason. Just like they used to hide the v8 sound track. Weird!

    • @timk.537
      @timk.537 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I don't think that's entirely true. Certainly Mina is one of the few that offer a metal intake for this and 3.0l platform (aj126 and 133) but it doesn't breath better. You wont get more HP. It's just a case of the sound being absorbed differently from plastic to metal. Makes it louder but why do I want that? I got the SVR for the exhaust. I don't want to hear the supercharger all the time and you don't exactly have an "off switch" once installed.

    • @equalevolution5563
      @equalevolution5563 ปีที่แล้ว

      In other videos when people have switched to Mina, they said they got about 15hp more which ain’t nothing compared to 550hp. Apparently it breathes better they say. But what do I know? I’m just someone that would love an svr/xfr! But don’t see the practicality, especially with all the uprise in costs.

    • @timk.537
      @timk.537 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@equalevolution5563 I guess for me, (coming out of a regular 3.0L F-pace) is was because I wanted the extra excitement but couldn't justify or afford an additional sports car. This SVR isn't great on gas but it's very practical here in Toronto. Drive it reasonably and its fine. But i dont have a far commute at all. It's really nicely balanced all around. Highly recommend.

    • @equalevolution5563
      @equalevolution5563 ปีที่แล้ว

      I seen many videos of people driving xfr, xjr & svr’s on motorway/highway & getting well over 25mpg, which is awesome for a monster of a vehicle. Its all the other costs. I don’t know how they can charge the same for tax/insurance on a pratical family monster then they would for a 2 seater v12 super car. Makes no sense!

    Noise maker...right on point. Why this body style got traction in the market, ill never know. Buy a sports car or buy an SUV..this is niether and does not perform like a sports car nor does it handle terrain as A true SUV. Does niether well.

    • @viewsonvehicles
      @viewsonvehicles ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You're right, sports cars make better use of this engine and tuning philosophy. In fact, I tested one, see link below. But I totally undestand why Jaguar builds this F-Pace SVR, crossover SUVs are hugely popular. People love the shape and the space. It's the world we live in. th-cam.com/video/qnQ6jvf63xA/w-d-xo.html

      P.s just checked on recent warranty company checks - which deals with reliability , repair costs etc
      Out of 29 manufacturers, jaguar was 7th - way ahead of audi , mercedes and BMW
