    It’s so sad that people only look at the negatives of Ukraine. Since I was born in Ukraine I’m hoping to move there!

    If I were to become a citizen of a 2nd country, I would want it to be of a country that allows multiple citizenship (e.g. not Japan, Singapore or South Korea, as none of those countries allow their adult residents to hold local and foreign citizenships simultaneously).

    Hi Olga. Thanks for making this video. I'm a freelance writer. My income is not tied to the country I live in. I could move to the Ukraine and continue to offer services to companies in the U.S., U.K., and Australia, as I currently do. If I did this, I would shop at Ukrainian businesses and pay taxes to the Ukrainian government. At the same time, I would not be competing for jobs with Ukrainians because I would be employed by companies outside of the country. However, I would not be able to employ any Ukrainians directly, as my business is not big enough for that. Could I use my freelance writing business as a means of gaining permanent residency in Ukraine? Thanks in advance for whatever advice you can give me.

    Hello Olga, can you confirm how long before a foreign person is eligible for Ukrainian citizenship after marriage to a Ukrainian citizen? I used to think it was 5 years after marriage but I have since heard and read that it is 2 years after marriage. Which is correct?

    • @Olga_Reznikova

      5 years after LIVING ON UKRAININ TERRITORY you can be citizen.
      But 2 years after MARRIAGE you receive permanent residence.

      Hi Olga, you said that if a person is married to a Ukrainian, then after 5 years of living in Ukraine,this person can apply for citizenship. But does that have to be 5 years of consecutive citizenship? Or can a person in this situation for example live 2 years in Ukraine and then live 4 years in another country and then come back to Ukraine and live 3 years and after these 3 years apply for his citizenship? Or does the person concerned have to live 5 consecutive years in Ukraine when he returns? Could you explain how it exactly works please.

I am retired so my government will send me my pension to Ukraine, I only hope it is enough. One question Olga, is it better for me to learn Russian first and then Ukrainian or just learn Ukrainian. I tried to find a Ukrainian language teacher here but I only found Russian teachers. I can speak both English and Spanish.Thank you very much for your wonderful blog and I want to wish you a very happy New Year and Christmas.

    No Olga i'm search for an music school for myself, i'm in an music business.
    i want to become a music producer learn how to play instruments, so i can be capable to make my own music.
    I know to study in Ukraine is much more cheap, because music education cost to much in European.

    • @Olga_Reznikova
      @Olga_Reznikova  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Dlaluna Dlaluna Well, in Ukraine there are music school, but as I know, it's just for children. I also finished it. Studying in music school is 7 years, you learn not only how to play musical instrument, you study a lot of subjects^ music literature, singing, sol-fa, and others. When you finished music school, you pass exams recieved a kind of diploma and then you can go to music high school. Than you recieved diploma of high music school. After that you can go to music university. NA after that you recieved high music education. But I'm not sure you can go exactly to music university without finishing children's music school.
      Of course you can hire person who just give you private lessons how to play piano, for example, but he will not give you diploma and officialy you will not have music education. So everyone finished music school, if he want have official education.
      About education in general, I don't know if it's cheaper, because if you are foreigner, you pay twice-third time more than Ukrainians.

    Hi Olga, I wanted to ask you about the Temporary Resident Permit. When someone has this permit, how many days can they leave Ukraine for? I mean after getting this permit, how many days in the year are they allowed to be outside of Ukraine in order for them to apply for a renewal of the TRP the following year? Is there a restriction on the number of days a person may be outside of Ukraine if they have this visa(TRP)?

    • @Olga_Reznikova
      @Olga_Reznikova  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Alex Dixon I don't know. Temporary resident - it's right to be legallly in Ukrainian territory. If you wanna left it for some weeks or monthes - you are welcome. Nobady force you to stay all time in Ukraine.

    • @stuarth1996
      @stuarth1996 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Olga Reznikova So for example if a person had a TRP it would be ok for them to leave Ukraine for 10 months and then return to Ukraine to renew their TRP for the second year? Would this be possible? Are there no restrictions on the number of days outside Ukraine for someone looking for TRP and eventually permanent residency? If that is so that is very convenient.

    • @Olga_Reznikova
      @Olga_Reznikova  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      I think it's possible, but does it make sense? You recieve TRP if you study at university. Can you left university for 10 month??? No, of course)))
      If you are going to recieve TR, but don't want to be in Ukraine for 10 month, why you need TR??? It's more time easier recieve touristic visa....

    • @stuarth1996
      @stuarth1996 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Olga Reznikova You also receive TRP if you are married to a Ukrainian citizen. In this situation it might make understandable sense why a person might want to be outside the country for such a period of time. If there are no restrictions on the number of days such a person can spend outside of Ukraine, then I think it is a very flexible system.

    • @Olga_Reznikova
      @Olga_Reznikova  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      oh, I understand. But even if you want to recieve permanent residence in Ukraine in 2 years after your marriage, there is no difference if you had TR before...

    I do live in Ukraine, but do work in Denmark. In 3 month in Denmark I can make enough money for my wife, our 2 children and me. We have house, 2 cars and 2 garage 1 km. from house. This is the most easy way to live in Ukraine. Just now I do work more in Denmark, to make money to build a house 160 m2 plus orangery and a double garage. I did draw the house myself, got help with calculations and drawings for kommune-office from a engineercompagny, 33.000 UAH. House will cost about 1,6 million UAH, with garage and all.

    I just have a couple of questions. I know that a non Ukrainian national who is married to a Ukrainian national can receive temporary residence and then after two years of living in Ukraine, they are eligible for permanent residence. But is this the same for students who come to study in Ukraine from overseas? I mean if a student comes to Ukraine to study and they are given temporary residence, can they after two years of studying in Ukraine apply for permanent residence? Is this possible? Is the principle the same for a foreign student in Ukraine as it is for a foreigner married to a Ukrainian in regards to permanent residency?

    • @Olga_Reznikova
      @Olga_Reznikova  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Alex Dixon No, it's not possible for students. If you got marriend - you stay in Ukraine because of family. And if you are student - what the purpose for you to recieve permanent residence?

    I have Ukrainian roots by the way, my babushka came to Argentina when she was 3 y.o. with her family from Vynnitsia. I tried to gather some information about becoming an Ukrainian citizen but it was hard and bureaucratic as hell, so I finally gave up. One of the requirements was signing a statement that I was rejecting my current citizenship, so no way. And pass an Ukrainian language test.

  • @alihassanofficial2503

    (Is that right please tell me i want to come in ukraine for study?? ?? ???)
    A: Part time job allowed but in Ukraine didnt mention work hours. If student free and want to work 24 hours than no body have problem and can work as much as student want but in Ukraine student can not do official job like (doctor , engineer , manager , director , banker , accountant etc). Because in these type of job must be pay tax. So student can do job as unofficial like labor , taxi driver , in call center sales etc where student can get salary cash on hand in the end of month or end of day or end of week. And in such job student can not earn more than 550 US$ or 600 US$ per month. Because student don't know the language and skill. If know Ukrainian Language or any other European language than possible can earn more.
