  • In this video, we're continuing our overview of the Russian Case System and discussing the Accusative Case. The primary function of the Accusative Case is to identify the "direct object" of a sentence. Watch the video to see how masculine, neuter, and feminine nouns (in both singular and plural forms) change when they are in the Accusative Case. Stay tuned for the rest of our upcoming videos on the Russian Case System and other topics related to Russian grammar.

      Seems so easy! But there’s that “catch” about animate nouns.. Always a “but”..

    Thanks so much for this video! It's hard to know where to start with this large system when learning independently--this made things very clear!

    Thank you for the great video! Can you give an example of an indirect object?

    • @russianreaders
      @russianreaders  ปีที่แล้ว +4

      The indirect object is the recipient. If you give something "to someone", that "someone" is the indirect object. We've got an entire video on the Dative Case and indirect objects which will be coming out soon.

    It is better to indicate stressing in Russian words.
