    For those whose criticizing U.S for why they left their large cache of weapons in Afghanistan, the truth is , the west didn't expect that the Afghan Politician will sell Afghanistan to Taliban. It is not the fault of U.S in why Afghans choose to vote for an incompetent fraudulant leader (Ashraf Gani), that is the fault of the Afghan people. Why not the Afghan Armed Forces give their weapons to the resistant fighters in Panshir if they knew there self have no will to fight. Atleast in that way, they give willing Afghans to fight back, but they did not, Afghan Forces just left their weapons to be captured by Taliban .

    The US didn’t just pack up in 1 day and leave. The US was handing over control the the Afghan National Army years before their departure. When I was there in 2018 for my last tour in Afghanistan, almost the whole base was controlled by ANA. Only a few US units were there performing assistance missions. After 2010, the US transitioned from fighting to training and equipping the ANA to defend their own country.
    So now. We didn’t just leave them. They had years of assistance from the US and they did nothing the day we left. Just let the Taliban walk up in there and take control. The ANA is the most incompetent military force in the world. Anytime you spoke to a group of them, it was like they had a total of 1.5 brain cells and none of them were using them.

      Torture centres aka concentration chambers

    • @franciscoburgos787
      @franciscoburgos787 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      They are as the name says. Detention centers. Those held there cannot be legally called prisoners bc they have not been convicted. They are “detained” awaiting trial. The “how long” part is indefinite. While they are detained and basically being kept in time out from the war, they are interrogated for intel but since they don’t just give up the information that easily, they have to be softened up with nato approved methods. The torture part is actually done by others. We just look the other way. Hear no evil, see no evil.
