Bontoc, Mountain Province has opened a good fortune for me and my family. Am now an American citizen and living comfortably in San Jose, California. It was in Bontoc that I first worked as a bellhop at Pines Kitchenette & Inn. There I learned of a PACD (Presidential Assistant on Community Development) now the DILG, Examination. Was lucky to have passed it leading to a 6Month PreService Training at UP Los Banos Laguna with 321 fellow trainees. After the training they assigned me to Luna, Apayao where I met my beloved wife. Her twin sister petitioned us to live with her in USA! Bontoc has indeed given me good fortune!

You gave me the chance to take the PACD/DILG Examination, passing it, and gave me the chance to come to the USA and get to be an American citizen. I owe you a lot. Eternal gratitude.
Its wonderful to learn that the Mt. folks of the CAR are returning to their cultural roots, enjoying a healthy visitor industry and getting respect from all.
