Installing the L.O.F Clutches Master Cylinder into my 300TDI Defender. A few hurdles along the way but the outcome was worth it! FOLLOW ON: Boris Instagram - / boris_the_d. .
My advice to you is to adjust the nuts on the master mounts after you commit to the shaft adjustment, because it's often not concentic to the position required for a "straight operation" And this prematurely wears out the rubber inside the piston.
I’ll have to add that to my list, looks good. My clutch is already lighter than normal thanks to a corvette clutch but the master cylinder is still standard. Has the LOF cylinder given any issues since fitting?
Great vid! The heavy clutch is something on my partners list of things for me to do so she can drive it! Looking at the LOF POWER-master and i'll give that a go...soon.
Hi there Just fitted one to my 90 and love it so much better My peddle high too but if I try to lower it too 140 as per manual clutch don’t work and bitting point is almost as soon as peddle comes off the floor Just thought I ask lol !! Oh I have spoken to lof and tried re bleeding to be fair they been great

What year is you defender...mine is a 93 but does not have that same spring it has single spring wonder if this is correct for my year
So, 4 years on. How's it holding up? Did you ever have to fit the return spring?
Yeah I did Fit it almost immediately afterward and it’s working a treat
Looks like a high quality product, I must get one of those!
Works perfectly! Very light now!

Cracking job buddy.
Are they a stainless sleeve?
I have to try the L. O. F guys, I have seen alot of recommendations on internet
If one cylinder fails, always replace both. They get the same amount of use and wear so the other one will always fail soon if you don't.
Both as in slave you mean ?
But don't replace both the master and slave with a LOF, they won't work. Only replace one or the other.
The LOF spring is a pig to fit in situ.
Hate the cheesey background music. Better with out it. Otherwise thumbs up
