Interesting enough, if LaVerne had taken the $2000 @ 16:24, and then hit the VCR/movie camera on what would've been her last spin, she would've won the game by just $9. Just an observation...
I can't believe they didn't stop taping, figure out what he hit, and edit it back together. I know they've done that on other occasions where the board went on the fritz - for example, Susie's final R1 spin in #132 (Susie/Cliff/Joanne). This just seems unfair, even though they did invite David back a few episodes later.
that is exactly what they do, these shows are notorious for electronic problems and there is a lot of editing involved, the director must not have been paying attention, that David guy should have said something but he probably was nervous and didn't want to rock the boat
Alrightie, Ms. Lavern! She worked that game. I can't believe she turned down Los Vegas to stick it to old boy, but she was right. it paid off.Lol...that's what he got for naming her on the pass. Edit: oh snap! I forgot she was from Vegas. duh.
No. You put it between the board and the ironing board cover. It'll retain the heat so you can turn your iron down. I like doing it the easiest way...permanent press clothing or slinky natural materials...except cotton.
8:14--that plausibly changed the outcome of the entire game.
Did he get to come back? He didn’t get a whammy when he pressed the first time
@@rudyredcat425 He did, six episodes later to go against Rick Perrie
12:26 The board stayed still when David hit his second whammy.
$200+spin or Las Vegas and LaVerne is from Vegas.... what are the odds of that?

And looking at it, he stopped on the video recorder. He did end up coming back later on (Episode 155)
Scott’s facial expressions at 0:15 and 0:17 always amused me. Also, 0:19, 0:26 and 0:27 facial expressions are three different stages of emotion.
That whammy David got should NOT have counted because of "computer malfunction "
I think he gave the board enough time to breathe/think before he pressed the button.
Oh, please ask that "grade your local public schools" question today...
Yes, Lord! they'd flunk big time with an F-.
Looks like he would've won the video recorder for $799... Could've changed the whole outcome of the game...
"I'm gonna get married..." Blink, blink. Smiling sweetly. Thanks Ms. Airhead.

8:13 - That was fucked!
8:12-8:18; This is where the board goes into Cacaland.
8:12-8:18
Aluminum Foil on an iron? won't that cause sparks?
