Well I got Golf mk4 1.9 Diesel and when BRPOM works - it works really well on my car. But i struggle to understand why sometimes it does not give any assistance. Like is my car battery too low or BRPOM not charged enough? , dont know. I did hear that these smart jumpers only work if battery is not completely flat like lets say 10-11 V. If your battery is already as low as 3-4V they would not work.
I take it back. It is biggest crap. I charged it full, my battery is 11.8V almost start car on its own. this stupid device goes green, but gives no assistance.
I bought this a few months ago...conclusion - IT IS USELESS. Mine is fully charged and I tried to start my car post it being immobile for a few weeks, and I got nothing. Same as you, I got the green light and yet it gives me zero indications that it will start the car. I actually originally complained that in the video it shows that the charger comes with a holder, and yet it didn't come with one. As a result, eBay refunded me the £40 I paid for the charger. Useless product.

Sounds like you have problems other than a low battery. Shouldn't have to pump accelerator to start.

Got the same with brprom 2000a, can't start, but use NOCO jumpstarter and no problems. This brprom is shi*
