Your '7-row' spud planter is only a 6- row machine.
There are 7 paddle wheels behind the planter that run between the rows. They install ponding pockets for irrigation, so water doesn't wash down the rows.

Would be interesting to see a lot of farmer with similar farms to design and build some equipment for themselves. I don't know, but $1 million seems like a lot. Maybe farmers could figure out a better way. Like small robot harvesters that were slow, but you could have hundreds working together. All automated working around the clock.
