The JK 241 T-case is interchangeable from 2007-2018 manual only. 2007-2011 auto and manual use the same input shaft. Which is also the same as 2012 up manual only. The case you have is a 2012 and up auto only case which has the female input. And yes in most LS swaps, 2012 auto cases are swapped out for older or manual ones. As no one makes an adapter to adapt these to any non jk auto. I almost picked one up for my tj. But found all this out and went with a gm241c.
My JK 2,8 CRD Automatic from 2013 has the MP241. But I can‘t find any parts for that type. Mostly NP241.
Just replaced the input shaft seal on the MP241 out of my 2013 Rubicon. No case disassembly required. You have to pull the male - male input adapter straight out. Clamp the exposed splines and pry it out. There is a retaining ring that sits in a channel in the shaft behind the seal. The adapter steps down in size to a slightly longer male spline section and this simply slides into the female front end of the main drive shaft. That retaining ring is the only thing holding the male - male adapter in place.
We use the early NP241Js for all of our LS/LT swaps unless they do an atlas. Even as a shop they are a few hundred bucks. I'd say you paying $100 for that one is a great deal. I have probably over 50 of those MP241s sitting in my shop they are a nuisance.

The big-shots at Jeep want you to buy a new wrangler to fix that dilemma... lol
