Raga Bhupali or Bhoop is a highly meditative and prayerful Raga. It rises like the incense or camphor flames/smoke during pooja which is an ancient form of communion with Divinity. Meditation upon Sri Krishna or Mahadeva is this Raga's core theme. The melody may appear to be easier to grasp than others. But it comes on stage only after considerable invocation by the Artiste whether vocal or instrumental. Panditji is a good devotee and a very skilled Master as evident from the manifestation of divinity on stage.
We have more than 100+ channels in Hindi. But not a single channel ever broadcasts Pt. Hari Prasad Chaurasia or Kishori Amonkar or any Hindustani Classical Program on regular basis or otherwise. As a nation we are content in politics or sub standard material dished out by the likes of Ekta Kapoor, Karan Johar etc.. We never respected great artists enough as a nation. In other words we never respect our own culture. We are born in India but live in Greenwich Mean Time.
