I had the great opportunity to work Nilo on my first job in the film industry. He was a "DGA trainee" at the time and taught me all about getting production paperwork right. Paperwork was always looked down upon... and because I had learned to do it properly (from Nilo), I got many jobs that a lot of folks didn't want, or weren't good at. Loved this! Especially when he talks about 'plans not working out....just be with whatever is'. Boy can I relate. I have spent so much time beating myself up for plans not working out, feeling that I should have done better or planned better, thought things through more or just basically 'been a better person'. This was so good for my soul!
