I'm disappointed with your performance. You hogged your own songs too much and did not trust the crowd to carry your choruses and punch lines.
Those Monster hits would remind anybody who you are if you just trust them to sing along with you.
The crowd shud be eating from the palm of your hands from the moment you enter the stage.
And trust me, your name might not refresh the memory of you huge catalogue, but!!! If you get them started, they will..
Tonight, your performance never left the stage.
You enjoyed yourself more than the crowd enjoyed you ...

I disagree! The band and background singers were bad. He had to hogged the songs so the crowd couldn’t hear those horrible background singers. Maxi’s vocals were beautiful. Crowd had fun.

But, compare a Bede's Hammond to a Maxi Priest..
Beres allows you to enjoy the song as he performs..
They both have big catalogues..
But their delivery is a vast difference.
I got distracted by Maxi and watching, I couldn't get to vybe any of the songs with him.
Because he's always in control of every moment of the song, very loud, very domineering of the Set itself.
Those punch lines are very memorable..
He should get us involved with them because those lines are truly why people listen to him & come to see him.
The crowd did not enjoy Maxi Priest like they Should.
I been to many shows where when the bands start the song, the crowd starts singing already.. Then the singer allows the crowd to follow him..
Let's say Barrington Levy..🤔 HERE I COME..
As the bands intro the beat.. Pick up from there...🤔
From Barrington starts it "Shiddly wop.. Diddly wopp"".. You expect the crowd to be involved..
And Barrington wouldn't take the song away from the crowd....
