@@ray4n807 well this card is still good in 2023, for someone like me, but it really depends if this is the best choice for you. For example i got an office pc for around 70 usd (thinkcentre m92p tower) and it has an intel i5-3470, 4gb of ram ddr3 1600 mhz, 500gb hdd and i upgraded the ram to 12 gb in dual channel, and i found a gtx 1050 2gb on ebay for 62 usd used. I had my choices limited by the budged i had and dual fan gpu's can't fit on the case of my pc. Also the motherboard this pc has doesn't support any cards above 1060 or 1650 i cant remember correctly. I had to make many research to find the perfect card for my pc with the budget and all the limitations i had. Also you need to look at what psu you need for the card (for this gtx 1050 or the ti version you need like 260-280 watt psu minimum). It also depends on what country you are buying from because for me it was a bit hard to find sellers who shipped to my country. I would suggest to find a gtx 1050 ti instead if the price is around 70 to 75 usd max because it is like 20-30% faster than the 2gb variant in some cases. @@ray4n807 I'd rather go for 1050ti or even 1650. +2 gb of vram really make a difference at 1080p.
I have it and it's still a great cards that doesn't consume too much power. Also added 24gb ram and cpu 7700HQ but there's some bottleneck. I'd say it's good but not for latest AAA titles
@tm_esco4850 the 2gb or vram are the main bottleneck. Most games today require more vram and when games are vram bound the game doesnt even use the full power of the card
The 1050 is starting to become just a display adapter with light gaming capabilities like the 1030, but it's still good if you keep your expectations in check
Stfu, this GPU runs most of modern games with comfortable fps, it's not even close to a fucking 1030

Hi bro, how are you? I'm telling you, I have a Pentium Gold with 4x2 3200mhz and a 510H, I'm between a 550 and this 1050
The Pentium is 10th generation and currently I only use the integrated graphics of the processor.
I get this 550 for 95 dollars new, the 1050 only used due to lack of stock.
My use is only for emulation, Nun5 Bt4 VC Stories etc.
In addition to the typical GTA V IV CS GO and ETS2.
Only most bass work well between 30 and 50 FPS.
The least demanding if they reach 60 but only low.

Cant help you buddy, all i can say is im impressed, you really aprocietea (cant spell that shit) gameplay over graphics, and thats kinda rare in theese days. Hope you get a nice gaming pc soon.
on ebay there are cheep server cpu and boards, you can easily build a cheap but huge upgrade for you for under 60€
