Thanks for the video. Is there anything that would allow simply the functionality of an old VCR? I mean that I have a TV that gets over-the-air TV broadcasts from the OTA antenna. I'd like to use the TV's HDMI OUT (I hope my TV has this) to save OTA recordings to watch when I'm home, like with the VCR. Yes, I know about OTA recording devices, but these are expensive and have their own tuner, which seems unnecessary since the TV has its own good tuner. I'm looking for a device with a bit better control than the pink recorder you showed, which would be good if I didn't need to also play back on the same TV with easy control....

If my source is streaming TV 4K and I want to record it and burn it, what do I do?
How do I save a 4k video along with its audio and then maybe extract its high quality audio and burn it in a CD?
When I play high quality video/audio through the 4K TV, it is a whole different experience than when I play that same thing via the computer/internet.
    What about gaming computer?

However, do to it's size limitations they get deleted in due time so i want to save these vids on my computer. The DVR cable box only has an HDMI In & HDMI TV slot, will this work? Okay I ordered BOTH devices you recommended but I'm having issues.
    1. I wish to record footage of my Roku device to help make a tutorial on changing your location in the PBS kids channel to get different episodes available.
    2. I installed a 500gb micro sd card on my GC513 lgp2+ and installed the firmware and UNchecked the HDCP option.
    3. After I plug everything in, my device still shows a solid red light in PC Free mode and won't record anything. Not to mention, the TV screen is solid black.
    4. I tested the device with my blu ray player, exact same results.
    5. I tested it out with my ps4(after UNchecking the PS4's HDCP option.) The video is now working, but the light on the lgp2+ is still solid red.
    --------------------------
Can you help me figure out what the problem is?

    • @HowToPM
      @HowToPM  3 ปีที่แล้ว

Hi! Just to make sure, you start from the source, then you go to the audio extractor, then to the aver media, then to the TV right?
The solid red light mean it's not able to record.
I can be because of HDCP, or because of a a memory card error.
I've just read on they page that the maximum suported card capacity is 128GB.
I'm suprise about it because I use a 256gb micro SD card and it work fine. But probably that your sd card is to big for it.
Maybe that your card is also to slow for video recording.
      I actually use this card : geni.us/SanDiskMicroSD
I hope this will help, please let me know if I can help you again.

@@HowToPM "Hi! Just to make sure, you start from the source, then you go to the audio extractor, then to the aver media, then to the TV right?"
Yes, that is the order of the setup I followed for the Roku and Blu Ray player. The Ps4 is in another room so no audio extractor, but I could see the screen when using this one anyway.
"The solid red light mean it's not able to record."
Okay, that is good information to know. The only other issue is the black screen. What's odd is that the picture showed up before I turned off HDCP on the lgp2+.
"It can be because of HDCP, or because of a a memory card error."
I followed the link you shared and bought thee audio extractor. Does this mean the device you recommended won't remove HDCP?
"But probably that your sd card is to big for it."
I switched it with a 4gb card and it's still red.
Do you think using a previous version of the firmware will help?

However if you download or if you record it and watch it later, this time I wont do anything on this view as you took it out of the platform.
However if you are TH-cam premium user, you can download, from the inside of the platform, the video to your library to listen to offline.
You can do the same thing with Netflix.
That type of download from inside the platform is totally legit as you pay for the service and the video owner will receive it's comission.

You are worried about people doing copies from movies because movies were made for Movies Companies to make money and have PROFIT, yet you forgot that the WAR INDUSTRY is the INDUSTRY with the Highest Profits. 🤔

      It's easy to understand.
Where is placed the Highest Movie Industry and what country has the Highest Profits with Wars, or you are going to tell me that Hollywood doesn't help to support wars, not directly, but throught lots of lies on their movies.
      As an example:
      "Rambo III"
Rambo was kind of "the special One" supporting the Afghan people against the Soviets, yet that movie, like all Hollywood movies, was a brainwash just to show the FALSE "innocence" of the americans.

Ich meine ich kann nicht französisch aber ich kann deutsch.
      Eu também consigo falar português!
I just said that his English is a bit rusty, not that he can't speak English or that the video is ruined because of it. :)
