These videos depend on viewers never actually watching the show and knowing who thesebpeople are and what they've done, except when cherry picking.

I used to be annoyed by her but man, watching it again, I realize she was telling facts but the show edited her as the "villain". Also, the reason why she got double elimination with Kayla at that episode because apparently, the models didn't get any food and water for 24 hours and only Bianca and Kayla who spoke up against the producer. The producer got pissed off and tell Tyra to eliminate them!
The same happened to Marvita on Cycle 10 when the models were in the lingerie photoshoot on the yacht. According to Fatima, Marvita was having migraine at that time but nobody give her a medicine for her migraine! Not even the medic team. That's messed up.

If you watch the reactions, a lot of them seem unsure or unimpressed. But only Bianca had the guts to stand up and tell them that’s fucked up. Credit to her.
To be fair, Shannon stood firm on her boundaries when the show tried to guilt her around the underwear issue. She knew that in the real world, you go for the jobs that are fine with your boundaries. A decent agent/booker wouldn't force you into jobs that aren't within your boundaries, so everytime the show forces the models into an uncomfortable situation, you know its bullshit. As I've gotten older, my respect has grown through the roof for the women who have refused to do something that the show tried to force them to do. They weren't being dramatic, they knew their worth and they knew the show was bullshit.
Credit to her for signing contracts to appear AGAIN on a this tv show then complain about it. She's elitist and uppity. What a hero.

I used to watch this show when I was teenager and I trust what this show project about what it takes to be a model; they should do anything, even without their consent to get paid and survive in the industry. Objectification, humiliation and putting the women down in general is the core of this show. Then pressuring to comply with the cover that this is all 'normal' in a working environment
Honestly, the ironic thing about this cycle is that the girls were no longer "wannabes." They are experienced models and already had a voice to give their opinion on challenges or topics. I liked that none of the girls had the conviction to tell her she was wrong. NO ONE is going to throw away their dignity to put me in a bathtub.
And this is All Star Cycle where the models from previous Cycles have more experiences (minus Alexandria who was just fresh from Cycle 16 and probably it took few months filming from Cycle 16 to 17 and you can see that she was still look tired).
You can see that most of them are matures but Tyra expects them they are the same like how they did in their previous cycles!
Like in earlier episode, Bre explained how she is a 25 years old woman at that time and she wasn't the same funky 19 years old when she was there before but Tyra mocking her in judging panel, "I'm 25 now. What does it even mean?'
It means people grow up, Tyra! Not everyone will act like teenagers anymore!
The sad thing is, I was a young girl watching this and I VIVIDLY remember shaking my head at girls like Bianca who were “being difficult”.
I grew up thinking that having standards and knowing your own worth was something to be scoffed at.
I’ve spent many years trying to undo the doormat behaviour programmes like this instilled upon me. Sad.
Bianca laughed and literally looked down on and literally stepped over Heather (the one with aspergers) in cycle 9 to use the phone despite Heather politely asking her to stop. Did you undo the harm there? She disparaged Lisa cycle 9 for being a dancer in the most deplorable way, did you undo the harm there as well?
Bianca instigated a majoirty of the petty fights and drama on cycle 17 too. Yelling screaming making others cry and fear for their safety. Did you undo that programming as well?

Bianca knows what's up! Why shouldn't she have some integrity?! It's so frustrating that the show tries to make out that models basically have to do whatever they're asked to without question. Models in real life are treated with way more respect than what they try to portray in the show. I genuinely thought it was a photoshoot in the bath not standing in the bath whilst promoting it? I mean what the hell? There's no point to this at all. Bianca is right Tyra would rather die that lower herself to do that. To be fair Lisa gives as much as she gets. She's like well if I'm going to do this I'll do it 100% with zero shame. Love it ❤

Bianca was standing for herself the whole season!.
She knew the industry already, she was working since she left cycle 9, she knew how it works outside top model, she was a grown woman, not 18 and inexperienced anymore(I’m saying this because that was the point, ken mok and tyra were just taking advantage of young girls, but she was not a young girl anymore).
She knew the tub thing was stupid, they were just made fun of all, so she said “you know what?, hell no, they are not going to laugh at me anymore I don’t care, I don’t want to and I’m not going to”.
That’s what a smart, mature, and with emotional intelligence person do, when someone is trying to mess with you.
I absolutely support Bianca on what she did and what she decided.
Of course she didn’t let them make fun of her and they eliminated her later.

Same happened with azmarie and that booty thing on cycle 18.
It’s part of why modeling agencies like young girls in general. They’re just easier to trick and manipulate. Imagine telling a 30 year old to live in a studio with 10 other women and to actually work for free before getting real paid work.

Bianca was right Lisa was....wrong. The whole paying your dues thing gets people taken advantage of and can put them in messed up situations. Also Nigel moving his hand in the tub Bianca was next to was gross.
This whole show promotes this attitude that as a model you should be willing to do anything whether you're comfortable with it or not, and I have no doubt that it put real models in very real danger. It's a horrible thing to train your audience to think.
But you also have to remember that in season 5 Tyra and her team screw Lisa in All possible ways, when she was booted from her season they didn't even give her a proper reason, in that season Lisa and Nik should have been finalists people like it or not Lisa was a better model than most of the girls in her season she was dealing (like probably other contestants) with a lot of her traumas and this was the production's fault because they were pushing her to share what happened to her as a child and she said No and even after the end of the season Tyra Banks and her team use her again for the Tyra banks show when supposedly they had her as a guest but Lisa thought she was invited to speak about her antm post life but they ambush her and they forced her to speak in front of the audience about her trauma and she (validly) reacted in front of everyone. So why she came back to all stars? Because of revenge and already learn how low where Tyra and her team and wanted to take (the money) for all the suffering they made her deal with

Even if from the basis of the trash concept of "paying their dues", wouldn't the girls have already done that? They've already done the 1st cycle, became working models, are popular enough to be asked back and already have fans. At what point are the dues finally paid? Like you said, it's meant to take advantage of these girls (and the people from every cycle).

This cycle was epic for all the right reasons, and I'm not talking about the modeling. Bianca walked all these producers and judges to the plank. Tyra would NEVA!!! Tyra knows it herself and still gaslit Bianca.
Fun fact Bianca had just came off of a Tom Ford Campaign when she did this show and had been working with Tom Ford consistently, which is a big reason why she was not having it when it came to her reputation and her brand! She was really working, probably one of the busiest non winners at that time!
I'm curious though why she'd go on a reality show that has them doing all sorts if she cared about her reputation and was already working in the industry? She'd done the show before, she knew what it was like. No hate to her or anything. I mean, the show has done blackface photoshoots, standing in a bath isn't really that crazy by comparison?

I thought at first they were just doing a photo shoot in a bath tub and I was confused as to why it was so bad. Standing there in a bath tub at a marketing party is completely different - that's so weird. I'd be mad too.
I had exactly the same thought! A bathtub photoshoot would be pretty cool! But to be lying in a bathtub and having everyone looking down over you for a whole evening is just humiliating and disrespectful - I wouldn't even want to buy something from a salesperson like that.

I'm surprised they got Kayla to say what she said when 2 seasons ago they basically got her to do the male model commercial despite traumatic experiences (I'm focusing on production not her).
But we ALSO know the backstage confessional stuff edits and tricks them into saying what they want recorded too.
And of course, their prime example of insisting on nude/provacative photoshoots. We see this with Shannon in this season.
SHE has a preference to what she considers a "bathing suit" versus "lingerie." It might be confusing but at the end of the day, it was so obvious how the show and judges were nitpicking this.
ANTM needs to be thankful the show is ALREADY dead and getting residuals because if this aired today, it would have been cancelled in all senses of the word.

Considering that many ANTM alumni have a hard time booking a modeling job after the show proves that Bianca is right. Gimmick photoshoots is not getting them anywhere obviously.
Then why choose to appear AGAIN on said TV SHOW, signing multiple contracts and NDAs? Mollie Sue cycle 6, huge success after the show: they did not want us girls (from the show) esp after cycle 7 with Cari Dee winning.

Cycle 2 April qas sucessful post show segueing into fashion tv, cycle 2 Mercedes was sucessful and still working jobs today.
Cycle 3 Tocxara became the first plus size black model on Vogue Italia literally and SPECIFICALLY bc of antm, Anne and Yaya were popular for a while as well, Nargas in auditions became massively successful post show, Noelle had a decent career in Asia.
Dani cycle 6 was hugely sucessful and is STILL modeling today, apparently Leslie was working a lot for a while too. Cycle 7 Eugena, Meg, were hugely sucesful wspbin Europe. Cycle 8 Jaslene was everywhere, along with Brittany. Etc etc
Cycle 12 fan favourite Allison was very sucessful. Cycle 13 Nicole, Jen, Sunday were working strong (Jen and Sunday still working to this day) Cycle 16 Britney was sucessful, cycle 19 Leihla massively popular in every show, cycle 21 Winnie was and is everywhere still. Etc etc.

I remember one time on australia's next top model they made the girls pose on giant blocks of ice wearing diamonds during a party. They had to stay on the blocks of ice and stay completely still as if they were ice sculptures for however many minutes- well people came up and observed the jewelry & live art. One girl choose a pose where she planted half her face into the ice because she didn't actually think it was going to be that cold and it just was very painful to watch as all the makeup started running down her face alongside her tears from the cold.
And no one ever heard of these fragrances ever again. 😒

This episode feels kind of... fetishy. Like, the guys telling Bianca to get in and 'won't he put you in?' is so creepy.
All the girls saying 'sometimes you have to do something that makes you uncomfortable' is so sad, and very worrying. You shouldn't have that mentality in any industry, but especially one like modeling where you are selling your image. People WILL exploit that.

I've lived in California for 60+ years. There is no such thing as a Cali Girl, no one in the state calls it Cali ever. She needs to define what she means by that. It's b.s.
The gag is Bianca was right the entire season. The gimmicks in this cycle really took away from the seriousness of them having All-stars back. They could’ve made this a high fashion cycle but got D-list celebrities and challenges like this one that had nothing to do with modeling.
Bianca might have been framed as a villain, but is it truly a villain to stand up for yourself?
This season was so toxic and awful. I'm still mad about how Angelea was treated when she won.

I was about to comment about there being only one season of All Stars when you said it first. I've been thinking it since the Express video.
You know what would be cool?
This is ANTM so I don’t expect much, but if this was a theme party and not a challenge, there is more you can do.
Say you keep the bathtub, the models can do flirty and cheeky poses on the edge of the bathtub splashing it around. Then they can add bath bombs that go with their fragrance and have the fans test it by swirling their arms around. Maybe they can stand in the bath tub and get photo ops and than done. They can mingle afterwards. Maybe not even a tub, but a small standing pool.
They can style and dress in colors that match the scents or the bath bombs.
There is so much that you can do with this without making it tacky.
The fragrance idea would have been better suited to the photoshoot of this episode. They should have had the contestants do a clean and simple photo shoot where they sell their fragrance brand.

The thing is this show is a reality show, not a model competition
And all is fair in reality TV, we all learned that a looong time ago... And if ANTM just admitted that's what was going on maybe we couldn't rightfully complain... But they don't. Idk what the girls were told when they signed up, but on the show Tyra(nt) and her Teams of Trolls keep insisting it is a real modeling competition, totally representative of "the real world", etc., etc.

Lisa was great at playing the ANTM game but Bianca wanted to be an actual model and gain modeling experience, which is not something ANTM does well

The show basically wanted the women to be compliant. In other words, they were virtually being trafficked. Threatening them with elimination for not doing a questionable shoot or gimmick is tantamount to pushing them into being prostitutes. It's a shame that some of the young women think forcing yourself into an uncomfortable situation is "paying your dues." The challenges are not for everyone. The bathtub thing was a tame obstacle (to me), but no one should be forced into it. It's a prop, not essential for modelling. If Bianca can sell her fragrance without it, then all power to her.

I'll be honest, I think the bathtub idea is kind of fun and I do kind of like it; HOWEVER, it only really works if the person CHOOSES to do it. Like if I was a model (lol) and someone pitched this to me, I'd be like "hell yeah sounds fun and weird". So it's kind of like, I respect Bianca's choice and the judges shouldn't penalise her for it, but I do think she's a little judgemental of the other models choosing to do it. Your brand is what you want it to be and Lisa's brand is fun and a little kooky.
