  • Watch me as I make an indoor wall waterfall fountain as part of my DIY tropical bathroom renovation! I made a wall water fountain from a sheet of FOAMULAR Insulation (polystyrene), Concrete, Great Stuff spray foam insulation and paint. I made the DIY waterfall fountain by carving into the polystyrene and using the spray foam insulation to create rocks. I then carved the spray foam to create rocks. The foam rocks were then covered in cement and painted. I used a pond/fountain pump and pump tubing I found on Amazon.

Materials used to make the fountain:
Sheet of FOMULAR Insulation (Polystyrene) from Home Depot
    Quikrete Concrete Patcher
    Great Stuff Spray Foam Insulation
    Pond pump
    Plastic tubing

If foam was used at the top, squished in between a barrier, that would have dispersed water in a flowy direction. I did it between two rocks in my aquarium.

    Hydrologic cement?

There is another concrete mix Quikrete sells called "Hydraulic water-stop cement". I learned after making this that people who make aquarium rocks prefer this type of concrete mix.

Very Cool, wow I didn’t think it was so complicated. I want to build a tiny water fall in my shower. On one side of the tub is a faux wall of plant squares that go up the wall, with a big planter on top. Although it’s covered by a top to bottom curtain, that’s why. Want to do a water fal on the other end of the shower. I think, not to get to complicated, and that I’ve had many fountains in the past that spl@shed onto my carpet. Is @nother reason why I want to contain it in the shower, cont…..
