    This guy is a huge figure in spirituality."The way of the superior man" is a classic book.If you haven't red that, you are living your life at half speed.

    This guy is brilliant, witty and reminds me alot of Alan Watts in his later years when he got into Taoism. Purely expressing, flowing with what comes and is

    I have no experience with Deida's seminars or any of the claims people on this video have stated but Way of the Superior Man was life changing for me. I do not agree with some parts of his material (ie the later parts of the book) but some other parts of the book really did open my eyes and changed the way I see things.

      I found that book to be great as well. I did not resonate so much with this video.

    Old thread- but as it was explained to me during ballroom dance classes- the masculine “leads” the feminine “dances in the moment”.

      Good observation, succinctly stated.

    Maculine: be fearless
    femenine: be voulnurable and express love.
    I think that it is easier to become fearless, than to spread the love to strangers

      Vulnerability is as much about courage as "fearlessness"

    • @sunshinefireside3611
      @sunshinefireside3611 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Will acting courageously even though afraid suffice or do I have to find a way to actually not be afraid ever again? Cause even at my most masculine times internally I can hear fear knocking at the door. Right now I’m trying to act with calm masculine intent despite the fear.

    @nobodysperfect06 It's easier for a woman to attract a regular man, yes. But! Attracting a worthy partner is equally hard for both genders. I mean, just look at complaints coming from women: "is so hard to find a real man". Do you think they talk non-sense? Of course not, they have it as hard as we do.

    @susanyogaplus It looks as if you posted your comment a while ago, however I am curious as to why you are making such a statement..... How is David Deida a fraud? Since you didn't clarify... Whats the premise?

    yeah but from a male perspective most guys, are comfortable, content with settling, dating a regular woman as long as she is hot, cute, pretty

    • @thirtythreeflavors
      @thirtythreeflavors 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The same thing can be said about most women. Lots of mediocre men around here. What he is saying is that you attract your reciprocal. If that's the type of woman or man you are attracting then it's because that's what you are asking to come to you. Because you haven't done the work.

  • @nobodysperfect06
    @nobodysperfect06 13 ปีที่แล้ว

    equally hard the same or equally hard but in different ways? yeah but it's easier for a woman to attract a man than it is for a man to attract a woman

    Sorry . . . but there's something seriously not right with this guy.
    He's way too concerned with the impression he's trying to make on his audience.
    It comes off as a profound lack of personal sincerity and authenticity . . .

      Arbiter Aye, entertainer mode. Not a true spiritual person. All over the place too and lacking clarity. Think ill stick to the traditional spiritual Masters.

      The Khalifa said to Laila,
      "Art thou really she
      For whom Majnun lost his head
      and went distracted?
      Thou art not fairer than many
      other fair ones."
      She replied, "Be silent;
      thou art not Majnun!"
